I loved all the elaborate trains on display. Had two guides and they were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Worth the $5 and more!

Recommended by a friend and a great little visit if you're in the area. Admission was reasonable and a guide was very knowledgeable about history of Mobile.

This is a great museum to visit. It has wonderful costumes from past Mardi Gras Balls, and they are beautiful. This is a must see location, believe me this is one you will enjoy.

This is a very important museum. I always thought that carnival statred in New Orleans but they had parades in Mobile before New Orleans.

The location of the Mobile Carnival Museum used to be the Mobile History Museum and it housed the displays you describe. In 2005 that museum moved to a larger space on Royal Street and it is now known as the History Museum... More

I did not remember how much we paid, but I see someone has answered that. My grandkids ages 9 and 11 liked it. Be sure to buy some Moon Pies. they were great - wish i had bought several boxes! Hope you have fun.
