Beautiful Cathedral!

Didn't spend a long time there since they were cleaning the floors, but a beautiful place to walk in for a few minutes and admire the beauty!!

Very beautiful architecture. Very welcoming for Mass. Joined in on a tour which was very interesting as was told that tours can be given if you call the Diocese.

Beautiful, must see. And free! Stained glass windows are amazing, and the ceiling rivals the churches of Europe

Very beautiful cathedral, home of one of the oldest churches in the southeast. Lots of history here, founded by French settlers of the area in the 1700's. they have a nice biography pamphlets of the church located on a back table. Make sure you go down to the crypt chapel below the sanctuary, the prior bishops are buried in the... More

This a beautiful cathedral with wood pews and kneelers. It has beautiful stained glass windows and wonderful statues and Icons. Worth a visit.

The cheapest jaw dropping entertainment in town. Its free to visit and has a world of history. I'm not sure the exact hours of operation but it is worth dropping in if they are open. Be sure to ask what is downstairs!

Got dropped off here for a few by a local Trolley Tour. The church is quite stunning as it's something you don't see everyday. Lots of architecture and history. My favorite part was the spiral steps located in the middle of the Cathedral that lead down to the tomb of 3 previous Bishops. Not something you see everyday!

Not the typical Catholic Church from the outside, but absolutely beautiful on the inside. Hoped to be able to attend a mass here. But we were misinformed as to the week day time. A definite stop when in Mobile.

Just walking around with some locals, we passed the Cathedral & although none of them were Catholic (we are), they suggested a stop. So glad we did. It's beautiful, quiet, & somehow comforting. The windows, the altar, the marble floors, the ceiling, the huge wooden door are all beautiful works of art.
