I went to this place yesterday. The new attraction is dinosaur ride with RM10 per ride which I think quite expensive. Entrance fees are much cheaper then before. But the staffs are not friendly at all. I can only a few peacocks and birds. Luckily there is petting zoo which we need to pay RM3 per person. Walked in the park not more than 30 minutes. The lift can not be used and cant get up to Menara Tinjau. If you want to come please come before 11 am and after 4 pm. Hope they can improve more in the future.

We went to Melaka Zoo and bought a package which include the Bird park.
Melaka Bird Park is about 3 min from Melaka Zoo via Jalan Taman Botanical. The birds are tamed and can be really friendly.They can be entertaining too. Some may even help themselves with a cup of sunflower seeds.There are different types of birds at the bird park and the colours are just beautiful and attractive.These are Rainbow Lorikeet.They are tame and friendly but watch out for their claws as they rest on your hands.

I had visited this park before. it was an enjoyable place. We spent a couple of hours. Today's revisit was totally disappointed.i talked to the workers and they told me it has been like this since privatisation. they also informed that it is similar with the zoo. very few animals. Malacca is off the vacation destination.

So, im expecting to see a lot of birds. But they only have a few birds. Im a bit disappointed. But my nephew have fun chasing the chicken and feeding the birds. So okay la. A bit small also. Mybe my expectation too high. I'll be back if theres more birds.

Great place with kids they would have close approximate with the tame birds.. .wish there would be more birds on the big compound and the staff are friendly too

Small park. Too few visible birds to stretch the visit to more than an hour. Many chickens. Clean premises and friendly staff. Parrots at the upper platforms were the highlight of the park.

Our visit was on a weekday, there was no crowd - we were the only ones there.
My daugther enjoyed walking around the paved track, and it is convenient for us as the compound is not so big (we made 2 rounds!)
We strongly feel that the state govt should spend some $$$ to refurbish and upgrade the place. The A/C at the reception was not working. They had fans on. Pity those employees having to fan themselves.
Also, the automatic sliding entrance door was not working! We have manually pull the door using ropes (!!!).
The only elevator they had was not working. Elevator
leads up to the sky deck, where all the birds are hanging out.
In terms of variety, there arent many species that we could see. But an experience it was.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Melaka Bird Park! There were many free-flying parrots (cockatiels, cockatoos, eclectus, lorikeets, macaws, African grey etc). For a small fee, you can purchase bird food to feed the birds. The birds will fly to you, land on your head and shoulders and will try to get the food from you. Good experience!
