The Old fountain is in the heart of the Dutch square, the main attraction in Melaka, and is good for taking pictures, nearby you can shop for souvenirs, take a trishaw or walk into one of the museums (mostly free or cheap) nearby. The fountain itself is not very special but the area is quite interesting.

It's part of the scenery at the center of Old Malacca. Can't miss it. Useful place to pick up a taxi, but negotiate the price before getting in!

Located at the center of Bandar Hilir, Malacca. In front of the Stadthuys and near to other attraction like Malacca river to have rivercruise, Flora de la Mar Maritime Museum, Taming Sari and River Side Hotel. Very suggested to walk here and get experience on becca. Remember you can not park your vehicle here

It reminds the old times of East India company and colonial time. There small details, romantic beautiful side and the understand of rolling time of England in this part of world.

Strategically located in the middle of the Dutch Square, it perfectly match to the romantic and historical atmosphere of the site. Although there were a number of people taking photos around this fountain, you can politely ask them not to block the view or become a photo bomber, thankfully they were really considerate. The fountain is clean, free of dirt... More

This fountain is strategically located at the place of main attraction like red square and art gallery. I didn't get any awesome feeling by seeing this fountain. It would be better if they mark some write up describing the significance of this fountain.

This is attraction reflects the true victorian architecture and is situated right in the heart of Melaka's tourist historical centre. It is basically a nice fountain with benches for people to sit under a huge tree. There are a lot of trishaws that you can take a ride on.
