One of my favorite places during my Mayasia trip has to be Melaka, an old Dutch Port that houses the original resting place of St Francis Xavier.
This church was being renovated and closed when I went. So just took some pictures from outside.

Church was built in the 1800's, during my visit unfortunately they were doing some renovations, I was able to get a look inside and can see when finished it will be magnificent, the architecture is rather grand, worth a look when in Malacca
I attended a service with my Catholic friend and found out from their facebook page that the main cathedral is undergoing renovations.
So the mass was conducted in a hall and I must say the attendance was fairly good on a typical Sunday early service....More
