I rate this place as one of the best tourist beach of Goa as there are other beaches which are extremely beautiful but not tourist beaches... You can find everything here from fairly empty beach and shacks a little privacy, secluded part of beach whatever...More

It's one of the best beaches in South Goa. Very clean and less populated. Went during monsoons so most of the shacks we're closed. But there are 3-4 shacks which are open all year round offering good food and great views.

Must have been a lovely beach in its glory years. But now it’s dirty - the sand is also rather dark here so the filth around makes it not worth it.

Goa was renowned for being a hippy dropout in the 60's and 70's and Palolem must be a Paradise lost for those around then because its now a tourist resort that caters for European and American tourists. Not much of over crowded and commercialized, hustle...More

A small beach but the locals and tourists have polluted the beach. The market on the beach is good with good eateries around.

We had stayed in Neelam the Grands near calangute. But drove to the palolem beach, which was 80 kms from our place. The drive was truly awesome.

Usually you can get a taxi or a tuk tuk. As for somewhere to eat there are the odd places near the taxi rank and entrance to the beach. I think one was a Chinese eating place.
