This bookshop and a café is a must for book lovers on holiday in Goa. it is located in a beautiful old building set in a peaceful garden off the main road in Calangute. Inside there are stacks and stacks of books on every subject connected to India. There is a really good section on Indian fiction writers, a real... More

Found this jewel down a shady lane in Calangute, totally by accident. And what a find! We spent 2 of 4 days in Goa at this delightful store. Great atmosphere, nice collection - browsing is encouraged. Divya the owner lady was friendly and informative. I imagine the book reading club she is a part of, would be really nice to... More

A lovely bookstore cum cafe in a lush garden with high trees and plenty of shade two ninutes walk off the busy Calangute main road. The beautiful portoguese villa, elegantly shabby and chic, is full of books nicely displayed on wooden shelves and on low tables. You can sit on one of the confortable armchairs inside the villa or in... More

In an old house, great atmosphere, laid-back feel but lots of books available to peruse, Not at all a commercial book shop. Hence make it a point to visit. May their ilk increase

If you are near the Candolim beach area of Goa and are interested in books then a visit to this establishment is for you. It is a wonderful bookshop situated in an old house and it is rather like wandering into somebody's private library. There is a very good selection of novels, poetry and non-fiction books both new and second-hand... More
