We offer responsible marine and coastal travel experiences conducted in partnership with local communities to enable informed and sensitive engagement for both the visitor and local tourism operators. We work primarily with local community boat partners who are empowered to transform their practices into being more sustainable and ethical. We also support our travel experiences with complementary social impact programmes, that focus on creating awareness, building capacity for various stakeholders to enable them to address marine and coastal conservation challenges and engage in grassroots action. ​

Wonderful and responsible ocean biodiversity experience

I can highly recommend Terra Conscious! We signed up for their ocean biodiversity experience and we had such a great time. Puja who conducted the tour was so knowledgeable and engaging and passionate about marine conservation. We learned a lot about the marine ecosystem and the Indian humpback dolphin, and the whole operation is managed in a very mindful and responsible way. We enjoyed seeing some mangroves as well. The boat was also clean and the crew was extremely kind and helpful. Go for it!

The only way to sight dolphins responsibly

We signed up for dolphin sighting with Terra Conscious and had a great experience. The boat was clean and the crew was extremely knowledgeable and warm. Puja who conducted the tour is a marine conservator and a true master of her craft. The tour was over 2 hours but were engaged and educated throughout. I’ve been whale watching in Sri Lanka before and was appalled at how the boats attract and disturb marine life. This was nothing like that - the experience was conducted responsibly and respectfully - to all involved including a few sea sick soldiers aboard :) We stepped off the boat feeling thrilled, humbled and a little wiser. Although more expensive than other operators, I highly recommend Terra Conscious.

Responsible dolphin tour with awesome guide

I can highly recommend it. It was just perfect. We even had the luck of seeing some dolphins that hunt together. We kept a respectful distance to them. While waiting to see them we learnt so much about the ecosystem and the animals. Our guide Puja told us a lot of fun facts about it. Did you know that orcas have different dialects?
If you want to know more and enjoy an awesome expierence. Book this tour and enjoy.

Ocean biodiversity experience

I went for the ocean biodiversity experience with Terra conscious and learnt so much about the marine ecosystem. More importantly an eye opener towards the shores being a shared space between humans and sea animals. Very very informative, beautiful and serene experience. Saw dolphins and heard them make sounds as well, which was a privilege:)

Amazing experience

Fantastic experience. The boat trip is well structured and the explanations are very clear. We really saw many families of dolphins foraging for food and various birds, such as the kite. the crew on board really pampered us and the cost is negligible compared to the services offered. A must try, especially since the landscape and the ecosystem are at risk, due to the massive building development.

Magical experience!

It was my first experience of seeing dolphins, and it was absolutely magical! The trip was also highly informative with Puja explaining not just about the dolphin, but the marine ecosystem of the region, and taking us from the bay to the sandbanks where the gulls are, to the mangroves that are integral to system. Truly the experience of a lifetime!

Amazing dolphin watching at Morjim

Pooja and her team of fishers gave us a fabulous dolphin-watching experience and a wealth of information on the bio-diversity of the area. Pooja is articulate, experienced and extremely well-versed with all aspects of marine life. I came away feeling enriched with knowledge about dolphin life, mangroves and the scant regard for preservation of such an environment. Doing the trip at dawn added something magic - there’s something breathtaking to watch the sun gleaming metallic off the backs and fins of dolphins barely a few metres away. I highly recommend this trip to adults and children alike.
I would have like a list of things-to-do-to-help as I left with a strong desire to help in some way :).

Best nature based experiences in Goa

I had the chance to experience not only the wildlife boat trip, but also the mangrove kayak trail and the bicycle plateau trail. All three experiences were beautiful. Not only their hospitality is on point, but also they are very knowledgeable about the wildlife, conservation issues, the surroundings and the local communities. If you are into these topics as well as low impact tourism, then you definitely need to book an experience with them. As a conservationist and nature enthusiast myself I can definitely recommend all of their trips. Will definitely book again with Terra Conscious, as I have been doing so far every time I come to Goa.

A unique and rare opportunity to rekindle your love for Nature

An absolutely enchanting and zen experience to kayak in this secret forest, where you have the opportunity to be surrounded by mangroves beneath, above and all around...It's largely the gentle sounds of your kayak's oar strumming through the backwaters. As your kayak traverses through the narrow paths, our experienced guide Roshan gently nudges you to observe the flora, fauna, smaller living beings and whispers enriching stories about them. It's indeed a paradox that there is such a rare natural habitat in the midst of such a crowded tourist place; Terra Conscious makes such sincere efforts to follow the highest norms of eco-friendliness, safety and yet make it a friendly, fun and enchanting experience. Lastly, you do not need any prior technical expertise, any specific weight, height or age to try this experience - they ensure that ANYBODY can experience this. You will find other vendors that offer kayaking at lower rates, but I doubt they will provide you an experience the wonders of Mother Nature in this rare & unique manner.

Loved it - a must try!

It was breathtaking - Roshan took us through the mangroves and gave us a detailed walkthrough of the different flora and fauna. Loved every second of it - the only negative thing about the trip is that it ended :p would have loved to do it all day :) Do add it to your bucket list if you are in Goa!
