About
We offer responsible marine and coastal travel experiences conducted in partnership with local communities to enable informed and sensitive engagement for both the visitor and local tourism operators. We work primarily with local community boat partners who are empowered to transform their practices into being more sustainable and ethical. We also support our travel experiences with complementary social impact programmes, that focus on creating awareness, building capacity for various stakeholders to enable them to address marine and coastal conservation challenges and engage in grassroots action.

Spent the a beautiful 2.5 hours out in the waters dolphin watching with Pooja. The tour started just as the sun was rising and for 1.5 of the 2.5 hours we were actually riding along the dolphins. Pooja was an ocean of knowledge and shared so much information that was so enlightening and also pointed out various behavioural patterns the dolphins were displaying which were super fun to watch. She is doing some great great work out there and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone (specially if you have kids). The biggest brownie point really goes to how this is being conducted in such an eco friendly way and also creating so much awareness on the dangers and threats to Marine life. Big eye opener. Would def go back to try out the other tours they offer on our next trip. Thank you Pooja for dedicating your life towards making a difference ♥️ And an extra little plus point are the heavenly freshly baked choc chip cookies she brings u in abundance on the trip !

After having lived in Goa for almost three years, we finally decided to take our 16 month old on the Ocean Biodiversity experience led by the Terra Conscious team. It was a bright and beautiful morning and the experience was nothing short of being magical.
Unlike other tours that are focussed on sighting dolphins, this one is crafted to inform the conscious traveller about what really is important to know about the subject. The experience Puja brings with her reflects in how easily and interestingly she shares the information she has learned over 30 years of her being exposed to this life.
The fresh cookies, the care that Roshan and Puja take to keep their guests hydrated (with all those oranges and watermelons) definitely made me feel very cared for. A special mention to Rafik who navigated the boat very meticulously for a most enjoyable ride.
Amongst a lot of special moments we shared on the boat, some that can’t be forgotten are spotting the beautiful dolphins and watching my little one experience her first ocean trip. We can’t wait to go out on other experiences with Terra Conscious.
I ain’t revealing too much more because you have got to get out there to experience the magic.

We went on a beautiful dolphin watching trip which was so insightful and enriching on many levels. Pooja and Roshan were amazing at explaining a lot about the endangered Indian humpback dolphin, their habits and habitat, behaviour, and the threats they face from the environment, pollution, and excessive tourism. After an amazing hour spent watching the dolphins up close in the bay, we were taken up the Nerul river to learn about the mangroves and their critical importance as well.
It was so refreshing to see a tour company who's primary importance is to create awareness about biodiversity and responsible tourism, and not chase dolphins for the pleasure of humans. Instead, they kept their distance, and were so conscious about allowing them to do what they naturally do.
Pooja and Roshan did a fabulous job. We will go again for sure!

We found out about Terraconcious through a friend, and booked a trip through their website (seamless experience). We booked a kayaking trip for the morning; the trip started on time (they take only a small batch each session). We had waterproof gear to store our phones and the kayaks were easy to learn and get a hold on. The founders are knowledgeable and passionate about marine ecosystems and it’s a lot of fun to do this with them. The view is surreal, and the sun slowly rising along your trip also adds to your view. I’m extremely glad to have found their services and taken this trip! Would definitely reccomend this

Mesmerising experience with the Ocean Biodiversity trip. From our passionate and experienced guide Puja to her support staff, all of them made this experience worthwhile.
Seeing the sun rise from the boat, sun rising above the Chapora Fort, some interesting biodiversity trivia about dolphins & turtles by Puja & the actual dolphin sighting (in a responsible way without disturbing them) were the highlights of the experience. Yummy Cookies and the banana cake were the icing on the top.
We were lucky to see the Dolphins busy in their morning hunting routine.
For people with their own car, ample parking space available near pickup point.
We were a little apprehensive as we were traveling with a baby and a kid. Absolutely no issues.

We had always avoided animal safari's and trips because these trips generally end up disturbing the very creature we want to watch! This trip by terra-conscious was refreshingly different. It made the dolphins feel secure in their habitat.
Before the trip, we were asked about our food issues, accessibility issue or any other issues we had.
Terraconcious kept us in the loop of the program and informed us well in advance of the basic precautions we need to carry.
The trip started right on time and because the trips are in small groups it makes the trip much more comfortable.
Wonderful and refreshingly new information was shared by the guides during the entire boat ride and we managed to spot six humpbacked dolphins and also hear them with the underwater acoustic microphone.
There was a trip around the mangroves too, where I managed to spot a whimbrel ( a lifer for me).
Refreshments served were wonderful and tasty.
Just cannot think of anything to complain.

We had a fantastic tour with Terraconscious, Madhurima and Roshan were very knowledgable about both the humpback dolphins but also other wildlife and vegetation answering all of our questions. The early start allowed us to see the dolphins unbothered by the swathes of tourist boats and we had the most incredible sighting of a calf breaching. We also loved to hear that Terra conscious works with local suppliers to help educate them on ethical dolphin watching and that all of the breakfast items came from local businesses in order to further support the local Goan community. We would highly recommend this tour and love the work that Terraconscious are doing to help Goa tourism be more ethical and sustainable.

What an absolutely incredible experience - out at sea with experts who respect the animals and the environment. Tourists have to learn to play second fiddle to the beautiful and diverse wildlife, and they will be rewarded with gorgeous sightings. Can’t recommend Terra Conscious enough - their work on conservation is second to none and their dolphin experience is truly special.

Our trip was wonderfully managed by Madhurima, with precise information to prepare ourselves to enjoy the experience. Driven by an expert -Rafik-
Puja Mitra took us through a well informed and adventurous tour of the waters, revealing critical facts of ocean life that lies unknown to us. Her passion and depth of knowledge was delivered with amusing anecdotes and humour.
We had several sightings of Dolphins, before we travelled to the river to enjoy the mangrove and a host of migratory birds.
A very memorable morning that was furthur enhanced with homemade cookies and delicious fresh fruit and knowing that we were being responsible tourists!

Had the best time kayaking through the stunning mangroves with Roshan and team :) We were a group of 5 friends, all new to Kayaking, but Roshan guided us beautifully. We learnt a lot about the mangrove ecosystem and even spotted several unique plants, birds and crabs along the way. The entire experience was very professional starting from booking, reminders, training, meals and quality of equipment.
Would definitely recommend everyone to support Terraconscious's cause of responsible tourism and giving back to local communities. Keep up the good work team and thank you for this offbeat Goa experience! Definite 5 stars :)
