Alabama is overlooked in England as a place to visit in the States. And I don't know why. The Space and Rocket Center easily surpasses the likes of Disneyland - and it's real! You can drive an Apache simulator and a Humvee simulator and enter a mock up of the ISS. There's a great Imex cinema and a cafe which... More

You can't go wrong with the Space Center for lots of fun for all ages! For locals it's a great source of pride and for visitors it's always a surprise that the Center is here. There's nothing like traveling down the highway and all of a sudden a rocket is in front of you. Excitement, history, and wonder await your... More

Fun and educational. Could be organized better but worth a visit. Plan on several hours. Good fun section for children.

This trip was very informative. I loved how the children stayed interactive and interested in what the learned! Great trip for the family or school field trip.

This place is fairly expensive, but worth it to make memories with your family! I also recommend going on a day when it is not so hot outside. The kids will really enjoy it!

I took 16 students here to their Space Camp. The staff was excellent, well informed, and prepared at all times. The Space Camp program is inside the Space and Rocket Center grounds and the students get training similar to astronauts. Space Camp was awesome for my students and the museum was very good. I also did the bus tour, our... More

I am a retired US Army Veteran with 25 years of service. I have traveled and have visited many historical sites and museums. I have to say that I was very disappointed in this one. Most, if not all of the outdoor exhibits are in such a sad state of needing repair, that many are not even worth viewing. It... More

Thank you so much for your review and feedback. Your feedback allows us to make necessary changes and upgrades to our programs. We are embarking on an extensive plan to restore all our exterior exhibits, beginning with the signs in Rocket Park. We hope to have these printed and replaced as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the spring is one of... More

Awesome place to check out regarding the history of Von Braun building rockets in Huntsville as well as the space program. It has a few rides which are okay. Space Camp is also an attraction which is pretty awesome.

If you have been to KSC or NASM, then the only thing here is the Saturn V. It should be named the "Space and Racket Center" given the "astronomical" price to get in. Being a space buff I was so excited to go and now very disappointed. Many exhibits closed or being changed. Avoid this place for the next few... More
