This is the only area of the birding trail that I have been to, but it is very nice and secluded. I walked the Pine Beach Trail from Fort Morgan Road to the beach and could see no one for miles. Saw lots of birds...More

It depends upon the time of the year, but we have seen a variety of birds. And some where life birds for us. On State Road #2 we have seen and photographed as many as 6 Osprey on different trees. Great Blues and Royal Terns....More

Stop at the visitor's center for a map and then drive to the trail head parking areas. Varied habitat, well maintained trails, with occasional amenities. We especially enjoyed the elevated platform structure at the edge of the woods.

Part of the trail is off of Dauphin Island.
