We've been making blue-ribbon-good candy since 1935, and we still make it...

We've been making blue-ribbon-good candy since 1935, and we still make it the old-fashioned way, hand-dipping pecans and candies using family recipes. Only the pick of the harvest makes it into our candies. Watch from our upstairs viewing area as favorites like pralines and pecan brittle are being made. Taste it all at the Free Sampling table. If the car's too full to take it all home, order from our website we'll ship it fresh to your door. Southern Living has named us one of their top food finds. You'll agree when you find our slow-cooked Southern favorites. Our hot buffet served daily, and you can make your own favorite sandwich or salad at our cold bar. Our hot lunch bar is served from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and our cold bar is served from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.. Our food area is filled with many delicious items including pickles, syrups, gourmet coffees, salad dressings, jams and jellies. We also have sixteen flavors of ice cream! Browse through our gift shop and find many unique and wonderful gifts. There is something for everyone. Home decor, gardening items, toys, garden flags, greeting cards, baby gifts, t-shirts, and a large array of regional and seasonal gift ideas are always available. We look forward to seeing you soon!

I'd visited Priester's several times in the last 30 years - both in Ft. Deposit and in Georgia. My friends hadn't been there so we stopped on the way to Orange Beach. The big log building with wide front porch and ample parking welcome you. Their selection of pecans, candies, and baked items is outstanding. Fudge, pralines, chocolate covered pecans,... More

Pecan heaven. So many ways to prepare the lowly pecan! Pecan pie is famous all over Alabama. Bowls of flavored pecans and candy set out to sample. Lunch is available in the restaurant area with hand scooped ice cream. Pick your favorite from the tubs in the counter. Allow at least 30 minutes to browse the shop. You will definitely... More

We have been driving by this place for years, and today we stopped. It was a nice break. We enjoyed the samples and ended up getting some of the Key Lime pecans which were surprisingly good. They have a large gift shop. If you are an Auburn or Alabama fan, they have tons of paraphernalia for you. Our stop was... More

Enjoyed all the free samples. Very small and crowded on both of our visits. Most expensive pecan pies I have ever seen. Just don't understand the 12% sales tax, nothing in there is worth an additional 12%.

Priester's Pecans store is a great place to buy one of a kind nuts and fruits in addition to any type of pecan raw or prepared that you desire. Get you a cup of great ice cream while you are there

Nice gift store with free pecan samples and viewing room to watch them make candies and pecan pies. Very interesting to "see how it's made." Pecan halves are top notch, large pecans. Sample flavored pecans, roasted pecans, pecan logs, pralines, fudge & more. Large front porch with rocking chairs to just relax. Popular stop at exit 142 off I-65. If... More
