This temple is definitely very crowded and a wee bit dirty too, but the worship is good and worth taking a pain to get in.

I did not see any ramp on the way to the idol. My advice is to avoid this temple and visit Dhakshineswar temple which is much more better than this and no touts and goondas here.

the temple opens at 4 am. it will be convenient to go at 6-7 am. will take atmost one hour to cover the rituals.
