A place for book lovers, there are numerable book shops. The Calcutta University exists here. All the famous schools are here in this boi para. The famous Indian Coffee House here, one can happily send some quality time alone or with friends.

If you are book lover come to this place :) and enjoy books in stalls. Dont forget to visit old coffee shop, avoid lunch time to get the place

An idle place for bookworms. This market has innumerable makeshift stalls and permanent shops selling books (academics, novels, magazines) at good discount rate. Its popularly said that if you cant find a book here its probably not published !
