This temple is located in ballygunge and is a beautiful structure. You are not allowed to click photos once you are up the stairs of the temple. But there is a beauty un enjoying the environment of the temple in the evening.

Lovely Radha Krishna temple situated at famous area of Kolkata called Ballygunge. We went in the evening around 7pm temple was illuminated and was looking very beautiful.

As this is a temple it is frequented by hordes of devotees. I think it is too crowded to actually have a few minutes of peace and reflection.

Birla Temple is located at Ballygunge. The temple has got a superb architecture and lighting. Mainly the temple is for god Krishna and goddess Radha. There are other god and goddesses too like Durga, Shiva etc.

The temple is open in the morning from 5.30 A.M. to 11 A.M. and in the evening from 4 .30 P.M. to 9 P.M There is a no closing day and can be accessed on all days. You can expect extra rush at Janmashtami as it is primarily a... More

There are no lifts - but not too many steps (about 20 from the street to the courtyard - and the about another 20 to the main part of the temple) - It can be very busy at weekends, so I suggest you visit on an evening... More
