A sunset to remember....made even more memorable with the personalised service of the staff who ensured your every wish was always fulfilled with a smile. The soothing ganges on a winter evening...watching the sun go down with a hot cup of tea in your hand...it does not get more surreal than this !!!

On 15-10-2021 I took a ride on the immersion cruise with my family arranged by Vivada . Unfortunately the trip didn't go too well due to the following reasons: 1. The entire air-conditioning system inside the "PARAMAHANSA" was not working properly. As a result, everyone was feeling extremely suffocated and sweated like hell. We even asked the "on-board" staff to look into the issue but they fell on deaf ears. After an hour or so, they announced that the entire air-conditioning system was facing some technical challenges. This behaviour is extremely unprofessional , especially when people have paid money for the service. Please note that there were senior citizens on board and due to this negligence many of them were feeling ill and were facing breathing problems. The staff further mentioned that the hard rain led to that kind of mismanagement whereas in reality rain has got nothing to do with AC functioning. It seemed like they deliberately turned the AC off to save fuel. I was also surprised to see that there was no alternative plan in place for handling the crisis 2. People fell short of glasses and plates and had to wait for hours for re-filling. Ultimately they failed to provide us with an adequate number of glasses and plates. 3. Even at the buffet lounge, people almost had to stand in long queues waiting for the others to finish their meal as there was a shortage of chairs. The AC system in the buffet lounge was also not working and people were literally sweating while having dinner. 4. The upper deck from where we were supposed to view the immersion was in a terrible state due to the rain. The rain water which fell through the holes in the tarpaulin covering the area literally drenched the chairs, So, we had no other choice but to go downstairs again to the suffocated areas and wait till the rain abaits. Although there was a weather forecast about the rainfall, why didn't the management take adequate measures. It looked like a beggar's tent, not a luxury cruise. The only thing that we enjoyed was the food and the dance performance. I had great expectations on Vivada and that is the reason why I took my parents for the cruise. I was also planning for the Sunderban Trip in December, but these incidents have led me to have second thoughts.

The entire experience was absolutely pleasant and a happy one for us . Highlights for the trip - 1.Customer service on board especially while serving food to us for very well done. The people on board were very friendly and polite . 2.Food is tasty and qualifies for good quality .There is variety for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.The starters were the highlight. 3.The cruise ship is well maintained ,decor inside and seating arrangements very comfortable. There are two decks .We preferred the open upper deck .The ship also is artistic. 4.The cruise ride was so relaxing and delightful. It was nice to see the city from the deck .Some buildings all lit up since we took the dinner cruise .The best part was going under the Howrah Bridge ,one of the prime symbols of the city of joy .The kids were exhilarated with this experience . Things which could be added since this has great potential and basis our river rides in other parts of the world . 1.A more warm formal welcome for visitors perhaps 2.Adding some onboard commentary to inform visitors about the things passing by .

A very memorable experience. We went for the dinner cruise, a family outing. The MV Millenium took us from Vivada jetty to Kidderpore sailing under the Dwitiyo Sethu & reversed to sail till Bagbazar under the magnificent Howrah bridge past the lit up Howrah station. Served on the top deck with a great lineup of starters & lovely dinner in the lounge below. The hospitality of the staff was very warm. A definite bucket list experience

Our agant had booked this afternoon/evening cruise so we did not know what to expect. The cruise is pleasant enough with views along the river and a 45 minute visit to a Temple. What surprised and pleased us was the unexpected food, both before and after the temple stop. The food was surprsinly good, excellently spiced and plenty of it - indeed so much so that we had to cancel our dinner booking
