Trying hard to loom away from the huge mountains, this is a great place to visit, giving a real sense of tranquility and of being a million miles from home. Worth a visit.

You get to buy stuff made by Tibetan villagers. Good place included in the sight seeing list in Darjeeling.

The monastery is so well maintained and peaceful it reminds me of the golden temple in KUshalnagar. Just similar to it. A bow to the managing committee.

personally for me it was an like looking things from different perceptive. Good to understand history and very nice clean, descent and breath taking location (on the hill top)

Nice place....traditional. Unfortunately we are not allowed in. Would be nice to be able to go in and pray. Its so serene. A talk with the monks is something i wish i could do
