It is a temple located very close to historic Dargeeling Railway Station, and it is replica of famous Pashupathinath temple of Nepal. Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has a beautiful architecture.

Dhirdham Temple is adjacent to Darjeeling Railway Station. It is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. I visited here in the afternoon when it was closed. So, confirm the timing before going there.

The architecture of the temple was just amazing and it provided a really beautiful view of the entire snow clad mountains behind. The temple complex was really quiet and serene which relaxed us as we were tired from the journey. Beautiful and spellbound

One can walk up to the Dhirdham temple through residential lanes in Darjeeling, a few minutes from Darjeeling toy train station. The temple is very colourful and the architecture is superb. The view all around is even better and amazing. One can sit at the bench there and spend hours after hours.

The temple is located just adjacent to Darjeeling Railway Station. It's a small Shiva Temple, laid out on lines of Pashupati Nath Temple in Kathmandu. The temple precincts have a lovely garden. The views of the snow clad mountains from the back of the temple are simply beautiful.

Dhirdham temple is a small, elegant, and colorful temple just below the train station. The enclosed area surrounding the temple is not much bigger than the temple itself and it has ample seating areas and flower plantings. Needless to say it's a peaceful enclave. Taking photographs northward is a special pleasure with the glacier covered mountains looming over the sanctuary.

This small Hindu temple near the toy train station doesn't have much to offer-- a tiny sanctuary for the deity, a bit of a view of the town. If you are at the train station you might as well wander on in, but no need to make a destination of it.
