We did a safari while we stayed at Lataguri this time to Chapramari. Enjoyed beautiful nature. But not lucky as far as sighting is concerned. The Guide informed its not a good time. Best time for sighting Elephant or Rhino is November to March.

I visited this sanctuary once and found one of the best place to see wild elephant across Dooars. The location of FRH is excellent but could not get the booking done in advance.

The home of diverse avifauna like green magpie, Indian treepie, hill myna etc and also migratory birds including teals. We are fortunate that we see mammals like elephant, gaur/bison, barking deer and wild boar in this region.

I enjoyed my trip to Chapramari Forest with my family. There is a very well maintained Salt Pit where you can very easily find many wild animals of the forest. Bisons, Elephants, Deers and various species of birds.
