“Neglected shopping Centre”

We only went to this unattractive area because of Ajnabi Sweets. It was a nice centre.apparently but a bit seedy now.

I visited this place after what seems like ages as this was a very famous place for Hangouts once upon a time bustling with activity and a lot of shoppers that had a charm in the mid 1980’s. In a way it reminded me of the old More Market near Central Station where I used to visit as a kid in the early 1960’s. Visited this place very recently and found it not crowded had shops of plants, a few electronic, a fruit juice shop but the main crowd was for the shop where ladies go to buy house coats and kaftans that’s still very popular and Ajnabi where they still get very tasty 😋 snacks like Bhel Puri and Chaats.Personally it was yesterday once more and going back in time and going down the memory lane.... Very famous in Chennai once upon a time, but it is still a favourite shopping mall for many in Chennai. So many shops selling ladies dresses, watches, bags, footwear, dupattas and running materials for stitching.

if you are in egmore and want to do some low budget shopping and want to have some great chaat and juices then this is the right place- must visit chaat place is Ajnabi AND MUST HAVE CHAAT IS THEIR KRISPY PALAK CHAATand you can finish it off with Paul Street gapre juice or cold coffe which is available just next door

Good for specific things

I would recommend this mainly for garments, like nighties, leggings, matching and fabrics by the meter.

It has some well known fancy stores and the chaat outlet like Ajanabi which has the best Bhel Puri and Gathiya in Chennai

good place for shopping and always updated with the latest trends. Every store is owned by an individual owner whose main focus is customer satisfaction.every store is air conditioned.it is definitely one of the best malls to shop for branded and unbranded .They do have mens stores like Fashion Express,sirtex and a multi brand innerwear store exclusive for Men.

This place has seen better years. Now its just a walk through row of shops mainly selling garments and of no interest to men folk. The place is not air conditioned and poorly maintained. I see no reason to recommend this place.

used to hit this place often as it was next and near to my granny's place!this place has good shops for women to go for some pleasure shopping or window shopping!has a kinda resteurany inside also for some great bhel puri and sev puri!!im a great fan of that,trust me!nice place to spend some time
