Located right at the OMR Sardar Patel Road junction, this small but elegant temple is possibly around 30 years old. With so much of traffic and noise in the junction, it is surprising that there is no noise inside the temple. There are several small shrines inside the temple and poojas are done regularly. In the earlier days, this place was famous for performing poojas for new vehicles. Nice quiet place to visit everyday if one travels in that stretch. Parking is limited by available just near the temple entrance.

Also called Nadukkayilai, Located at Adyar, where the Moolavar, Venkata Ananda Vinayakar is worshipped. This temple is famous for Aahyantha Prabhu, which is a part of God Ganapathy and God Anjaneya. In the afternoons, the Gurukul, offers rice to Lord Vishnu, made into a ball taken to God surya shrine and offered to the crows. Another popular feature of this temple is, on Vinayaka Chathurthi day, sun falls on the deity showing an auspicious note, where the 8 bells, SA RI GA MA PA DA NI SA are played.

A temple that has always given me a thought, “Revisit again”. This temple has enough parking space, there are Pooja shops nearby, and starting from Vinayakar a full round of the temple, evoke my inner self a lot. A temple that has always been my favourite an favourite and if I am blessed, I would be given a chance to revisit the temple again and again. A lovely temple, floated on the prime city of Chennai, a must visit temple too.

This temple alleges to perform the annual death anniversary ceremonies for your deceased parents. At the time in the year 2004, they used to charge Rupees 5000.00 for performing the annual ceremonies. I paid more than Rupees 12,000.00 to perform the ceremonies both for my father and mother just so out of gratitude towards the temple and to make sure that they run out of money.

Now these scoundrels who run this temple claim they cannot locate any of the documents I signed to perform the ceremonies! That is even after I sent them the photo copies of the documents with my signature.

This is a comprehensive temple with Sannidhis for many Gods, though the space is bit cramped. Although the parking is not a big challenge, access and return from the temple is a big issue during office hours. Best to visit the temple early morning, to beat the traffic. This temple is now the most important landmark abd milestone on the IT Corridor. Must visit.

Madhya kailash temple is a hindu worship place located in adyar chennai. We can reach the place by train service and online cabs. It's a calm and serene place and situated close to the voluntary health service hospital taramani. The moolavar is the main diety there. Food will be available from the canteen attached to the hospital. Altogether it's a must visit place on your trip to adyar.

It was my first time to this temple despite having passed by on road numerous times. A bit disappointing since the temple area seems to have shrunk in size owing to road development around it. Also, not too well maintained in terms of upkeep. The presiding deity in not Siva as one may assume on account of the name 'Madhya Kailash' but Ganesha. There are, however, shrines for Siva, Brahma, Vishnu and other deities.

You cant miss this temple, if you are on the Sardar Patel Road to Raj Bhavan. The temple is at the beginning of the famous Taramani - Tidel Park Road. Beautiful lord adorned with flowers.
