Visited this place in October...whole place was dimly lit and many shops closed cos of diwali. .. Whole place was quiet but few shops were still opened selling sarees,wood carvings,scarves and chudithars. .. Place is a bit outdated compared to the other malls. ..

For me - one of the best place to do authentic shopping in Chennai. A lot of craft shops. with reasonable prices, and all shopkeepers are ready to bargain about the prices. Actually, in some shops you can make 50% discounts, provided one goes around...More

Used to be the most popular shopper mall in Chennai but now totally outdated.. while many malls came up across chennai, this one stood still and didn't keep upto modern times.. many shops inside are vacant and that by itself is a very negative sign..
