A quick visit was justified when, on a visit to the US Visa Application Center, I found that this monument is just across the road. Knowing that this is a tribute to the great saint-poet Thirukkural, I expected a rich, cultural experience. The entry ticket...More

Besides the big chariot, which is the main attraction, there is nothing to see. The garden is good but the surroundings are not well maintained. Just a 15-20 mins time pass..

Beautiful. Very pretty chariot. Good to visit a place where the Thirukkural script is seen in public - something that I learnt as a child. Worth a visit. Try and avoid a very hot and sunny day!

Worth visiting once, to view the huge 'Ratham' in the campus. The campus hosts fairs and exhibitions throughout the year, for textiles and handicrafts from all over India, which is usually good.
