Ranganathan street is a big junk yard. It is supposed to be a major shopping centre. Horribly crowded , pickpockets galore, encroachment, unruly hawkers, you name it and it is there. Kindly avoid this place.

Good place to shop to buy everything at one place. Don't forget to bargain if you feel prices are too high....double check with the quality of the product which you buy and be careful with your belongings especially during the festival time.

Hi people.. I will be traveling to chennai this week for my wedding purchasing. Currently in the midst of cost estimation. It will be helpful if anyone who have done shopping in T nagar could answer to my questions. 1. Where I Can do wedding reception saree/lengha shopping? 2. What will be the rough cost of it? 3. How much designer bangles, necklace, earring cost? 4. Where I can do wedding shervani/indo western shopping and the cost? And what else I should know before i start my shopping? It will be very helpful if you can answer me :) Thank you in advance.
