It is a mojor fashion stop in chennai adjacent to Mambalam Railway Station. It is a paradise for fashion and jewellary lovers. Saravana, Jeyachandran are the biggest malls in the street that can caters all your need. The place is always crowded. The dirty road is only negative point.

I could barely manage to walk through Ranganathan Street on the evening of 31st Dec, 2016. My wife and son got lost midway on the street and we had to regroup after contacting each other on phone. The streets are crowded beyond its capacity and we somehow reached Saravana stores. The 5 storeyed store had a sale on most items... More

Ranganathan street is a commercial street in T.Nagar, Chennai -- heart of the city. Ranganathan street connects Old T.Nagar ( now called west Mambalam ) and New T.Nagar. Previously the street was all most fully packed with people walking from/ to T.Nagar Railway station( sub-burban train from Beach station to Tambaram ). There was practically no space for the walkers,... More

Pothys, Chennai Silks, RMKV, Big Bazaar, Globus, Panagal Park are notable places in T Nagar. Though there is a high risk of pick pocket in Ranganathan street, be very careful! Also it... More

Nalli, RMKV, Chennai Silk, Kumaran, GRT, Balu jewellers, etc to name a few. Although most of these mega sized stores have their own parking space, parking is... More

A paradise for shoppers. One can get everything here both from the shops and in the street for a little cheaper price. Crowded street but if you do not mind that, then you can enjoy shopping.
