Raju is a very kind and good guide. He gives the full-experience and knows a lot of hidden spots in Jaipur, which he loves to show. His knowledge is great and he explains everything very well. His english is excellent.

Raju's walking tour experience around the Pink city was fantastic. We were given a great cross-section of sights, from history, to temples, to food tasting and watching marble carving. We were very impressed with his broad knowledge of his amazing city. Raju is so insightful and just a genuinely lovely honest person.
Thank you Raju, we will definitely be recommending you to friends traveling from New Zealand.

When I told a friend that I was planning a month long trip to Northern India which would include Jaipur, without hesitation, she suggested Raju Meena at Hidden Jaipur as the ideal guide for my Jaipur trip.
On arrival at my hotel in Jaipur, I met with Raju to plan an itinerary. We explored many sights, well known and little known.
Raju is very friendly, very knowledgeable and is clearly well known locally....helpful....I even met his family !
I wouldn't hesitate in suggesting Raju as the ideal guide, to anyone touring Jaipur.

My husband and I just spent the day on a private tour with Raju- it was fantastic!! We are well traveled and have done a variety of different types of tours around the world and are not easy to impress - but Raju is absolutely worth the 5* praise.

Tour overview
Timing: 9-6ish (not strict, based on what we wanted to see and do)

Major sights: wind palace, city palace, water palace, amber fort

Unique sights: many rooftop vistas, cremation grounds, temples, lakes, swimming hole, and flower/vegetable markets

Highlights: a home cooked lunch at his home with his family, street food (paratha, chickpea curry, paneer masala, lassi), feeding friendly monkeys, all the unique sights not full of tourists - very peaceful and off the beaten path

Raju was really informative and entertaining. We did everything at our preferred pace and were never pressured for anything at anytime.

Our driver - Raju's relative- was also very friendly and took great care of us throughout the day.

Honestly cannot recommend this enough to anyone coming to Jaipur!!

Raju knows Jaipur like the back of his hand and is an excellent guide. He took my wife and I on a walking tour of the town and showed us places that would never stumble upon on your own. He also featured in the BBC's award winning Real Marigold Hotel series that I was working on. He is kind and calm and insisted on working even when injured. Helpful, knowledgeable and if you need someone to help you see the real beauty of Rajistan he's your man.

What an excellent guide Raju is! We visited places no other guide would take us, amazing. Value for money and memories to last forever. We actually booked a second day because their experiences were excellent.

We booked this tour after spending our first night in a well rated jaipur restaurant and being incredibly underwhelmed. I contacted Raju after reading the reviews here and he was very prompt to answer and organise a food tour.

We were collected from our hotel, drove to the new city and experienced the local food of Jaipur that you would not find alone and food that I doubt we will ever eat again. Everything was delicious. We ate until we couldn't eat anymore!! The tour finished at a small desert shop in the old town at which point we were brought back to our hotel. The tuk tuk driver is also very very safe so we really couldn't ask for more.

I would encourage everyone reading this to book a tour with Raju!!

My husband I had such a wonderful tour through Jaipur with Raju - one that we will never forget! Raju was very knowledgeable about the history and significance of each famous site, as well as the off-the-beaten path places we visited. He was great! Our favorite part was having lunch at his home! This tour with Raju is a must if you will be in Jaipur!

We were planning our second visit to India in May 2016 and wanted to arrange our own tours with a driver and book our own hotels. We had visited India the year before on an organised tour which was fine, but felt we wanted to spend longer in Cities and do our 'own thing'. As it happened after booking our flights and hotels, the BBC aired The Real Marigold Hotel. It had Raju as the groups' tour guide in Jaipur and he was so very impressive I set about finding him. I searched and eventually found him and boy was I glad I did.

He was the best tour guide we had in two trips to India. I cannot recommend him highly enough. What a great guy he is. He is informative, shows you all the sights us westerners never seem to get to see and is so very friendly. We really did see things that no other guide thought we would be interested in. He will adapt your tour for whatever you wish to do and nothing is too much trouble. We had booked him for two days, and I came down with 'deli belly' on the first afternoon (had to call a doctor out I was bad!). I was so so upset, I couldn't go out later that day and we were moving to our next city the day after. No-one can beat him I am sure.

After we had visited the other cities we wished we had stayed in Jaipur with him for a whole week if need be! We didn't realise but he is qualified to tour over a huge area of India and I would recommend anyone to take him with you! I have recommended him to our friend who is meeting him tomorrow so I hope it all goes well with you guys.

If I went back to India, I would only do it if Raju Meena could be our tour guide - and I am serious, no joke. We missed you Raju when we moved on, no-one can hold a candle to you !! (An English phrase that you'll have to ask someone to explain!). I wrote to Sita to inform them what a star they were missing. I hope one day he makes it BIG on his own as he deserves to be a huge success and he will need to thank no-one but himself. LOL Raju xxx
