    Cooking Class with Payal
We had the absolute best time during this cooking class! Payal has the cutest little studio you will cook in. She started the evening by taking us to the local market. She explained which fruits and vegetables are currently in season, then let us pick which we would like to cook. She even let us get some green mango that she helped us make a drink with. Throughout the entire class she walked us step by step how to make the dish. It was truly one of our favorite experiences we had while in India. We have even remade some of the dishes since we got back to the states. 110% recommend this class while you are in Jaipur!

    Really nice learning experience
We had a great time with Payal and learnt a lot. First of all in the local market and then back in her kitchen, where she taught us how to make three dishes and a palao rice. Actually really delicious and not intimidating. Looking forwarding to practicing with family and friends. Highly recommend.

One of the best travel experiences we had!
From the first moment we met Payal, we felt right at home. She took us in and explained everything from the history to the basics of spices. Cooking was so much fun and we learned a lot during this class. Tasting your own cooked meal is so satisfying!

We spent 3 months in India, and our favorite meal of the entire trip was the Thali that we made with Payal in Jaipur.

In general, I found that the home cooking I experienced in India was fresher and the flavors were more vibrant than the restaurant food, so I would definitely recommend anyone who is wanting a full culinary experience in India to seek out opportunities to enjoy home cooking.

The class itself was super fun and fast-paced. I took a bunch of videos so that could remember the recipes and since I've been home, I've been able to recreate them multiple times with great success!

Before the class started, Payal took us to the local vegetable market and grain mill. Based on what ingredients looked good and what we wanted to learn, Payal customized the menu.

For example, the bottle gourd looked good, so she suggested that we make bottle gourd kofta, but since fried food can upset my stomach, she adapted the recipe to steam the kofta instead... and it turned out to be delicious!

Also, it just so happened that our hotel, 28 Kothi (which was our favorite hotel in India), is near Payal's kitchen, so she was kind enough to pick us up and drop us off at our hotel.

Thank you, Payal for your hospitality!

Your class was such a delicious and enriching experience! Hopefully we'll be able to come back to Jaipur to see you again, and in the meantime we will definitely recommend our friends to you.

One of the best experience of our holiday in Rajasthan. We start with a tour of the local market discovering many local fruits and vegetables. We decided with Payal what to buy and what to cook. I will cook all the meals learned, they were super yummy!! Thanks Payal for the amazing experience!

Our family (2 adults + 2 teenagers 13-16) had a great time with Payal during the cooking lesson : Payal is very hearty and attentive, as well as very careful so we understand her explanations and specific practical tips (and are able to reproduce the result back home)
I would definitly recommand for anybody who wants to progress in Indian cooking, with the support of a very nice person !
Do not forget to ask for Payal family specialty : the mango pickles :-)

Our dinner cooking class was an informative, unique and tasty experience! Beginning with a trip to the local markets to learn about the foundations of Rajasthani cuisine, discussing different grains and spices and their nutritional and medicinal value. Purchasing fresh vegetables from the market was a new experience. Back at the kitchen Payal was an incredible teacher and we learnt so much! Our thali was without a doubt one of the greatest meals we have had as of yet. The class was personal and thoughtful. 10/10 recommend.
