If I had to summarize our trip to Gyan Museum, I would call it 'unique'. There is a wide variety of displays ranging from pre- Harappan to the 19th century and many of them are unique. Loved the ruby and emerald chess set and the miniature paintings studded with pearls! Thanks Nikita for giving us a detailed tour... Worth a visit!

A unique, vast collection of art from India and other parts of the world. Everything from the private guidance to the minimalist architecture felt so tailored and special. A must visit for historic art and design.

Such an amazing place! Even though I didn't schedule an appointment as required the curator was gracious enough to accomodate us. Special thanks to the curator for being a wonderful host and the place is absolutely stunning. It surely is an experience!

Exquisitely designed and curated, Gyan Museum and its adjacent Gem Plaza were absolute highlights of our time in Jaipur! A rotating museum collection of treasured textiles, paintings, antique jewelry, and objet d’art from around the world dating back to over 3,000 years offer rare insights into history. Its sister, Gem Plaza has been a pioneer of handcrafted jewelry, with exquisite craftsmanship manufactured in house over a 10,000 square foot area. Gem Plaza believes in fair trade practices and this sources only conflict-free stones and diamonds. Each of these twin experiences was both memorable and delightful.

One of the most well-designed museums I have been to. From the collection to its presentation, everything is of a very high international standard. The museum curator Nikita knows her stuff, she gave us a wonderful tour with great anecdotes and knowledge about everything we saw. It's an underrated treasure in the city. A must visit I would say for anyone who loves museums.

One of the best museum experiences in my life so far and this is a very unique place to visit for jewelry, textile, paintings and other forms of Indian art. Thank you Gyan Museum for showing me around your most exceptional collection. Many other museums could learn from your approach to showing off in a very smart way your collection of artifacts. If there is anything that I could add to incredible museum is that you are Jaipur museum so I think that I would expect a screening of the potted history of Jaipur and showing in the relevant items that you have on show. This would bring relevance to the museum. Secondly, you are a museum and not a shop so I would expect you to completely separate the two. People do not want to have a museum associated with a jewelry shop, however tastefully this is done. Thank you.
