- Varun SarawagiMumbai, India33 contributionsUnique Museum! If I had to summarize our trip to Gyan Museum, I would call it 'unique'. There is a wide variety of displays ranging from pre- Harappan to the 19th century and many of them are unique. Loved the ruby and emerald chess set and the miniature paintings studded with pearls! Thanks Nikita for giving us a detailed tour... Worth a visit!Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 9 November 2023

- Rebecca HSan Francisco, California4 contributionsThe Most Exquisite Museum Experience- Jaipur, IndiaExquisitely designed and curated, Gyan Museum and its adjacent Gem Plaza were absolute highlights of our time in Jaipur! A rotating museum collection of treasured textiles, paintings, antique jewelry, and objet d’art from around the world dating back to over 3,000 years offer rare insights into history. Its sister, Gem Plaza has been a pioneer of handcrafted jewelry, with exquisite craftsmanship manufactured in house over a 10,000 square foot area. Gem Plaza believes in fair trade practices and this sources only conflict-free stones and diamonds. Each of these twin experiences was both memorable and delightful.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 29 March 2024

- David R T R1 contributionVisit to the Gyan MuseumThank you Gyan Museum for showing me around your most exceptional collection. Many other museums could learn from your approach to showing off in a very smart way your collection of artifacts. If there is anything that I could add to incredible museum is that you are Jaipur museum so I think that I would expect a screening of the potted history of Jaipur and showing in the relevant items that you have on show. This would bring relevance to the museum. Secondly, you are a museum and not a shop so I would expect you to completely separate the two. People do not want to have a museum associated with a jewelry shop, however tastefully this is done. Thank you.Visited May 2024Travelled soloWritten 8 May 2024

Suppose a theatre, event or an exhibition selling tickets or asking for appointments before the visit. And you discover the tickets/appointments are needed to be taken before the visit as well. Also, you are not sure on what grounds these are approved. Nonetheless, you go through a booking process with no revert from the other side. And travel more than 25 KMs to reach the destination just to discover that it is not open for visitors.
I mean respecting your visitors time should be of utmost importance. You have a website that can show your schedule or critical information right? Use it then. Why a visitor could select a date of appointment on a date when no visitation is allowed. What kind of experience is that?

As a premier private museum, we offer exclusive & tailored experience to our visitors. To maintain the highest standards, we require appointments to be made in advance, as detailed on our website. We always confirm the availability of dates and time slots via email, ensuring a seamless visit.
Our dedicated team is available to respond to all inquiries & appointment requests promptly. We have a record of all our guests who visit only after receiving confirmation since we cater to large groups and sometimes need to close the museum for maintenance, which is why visitors without prior appointments might face issues.
To ensure a well-coordinated and memorable experience, we strongly advise against visiting without prior appointments.

I booked a tour of the Gyan Museum in Jaipur.
I was welcomed by Nikita Sharma
Assistant Museum Curator. I had the right to a private tour of the exhibits with lots of anecdotes and explanations. I thank her very much for the enthusiasm and for answering all my questions.
It is a high quality private museum that is absolutely worth seeing.

We really enjoyed our time here. Budget about 30 minutes to 1 hour for the tour. Nikita was fabulous while explaining the various descriptions. It will be great if the slots can be booked online though. Overall, a great experience.

I came to see Arun in his new headquarters. I toured the facilities and visited the museum. Its super chic. I think the museum should be open to the public.
