Channi Carpets & Textiles is one of the oldest Jaipur-based factory cum showroom where-in one can find hand-knotted rugs in wool, silk and silk & wool blended. Also one can find an unending range of pashmina collection, exclusive block printed home furnishings, a great range of silks and customized tailoring. Home delivery option and pick-up facility is also available.

Very effective demonstration of weaving techniques, cultural influences in carpet making, social enterprise for farmers, skills transfer to vulnerable populations, and quality followup service. We were impressed with the range and quality of woven materials and printed products, being introduced to traditional woodblock print techniques at the start of the tour.
Like many on our tour, we purchased a carpet to be sent to Australia. It is beautiful, finely hand-woven large blue item inspired by Jaipur's Palace of the Winds. We were well assisted by our guide who had been trained in interior design as a student in Sydney. The exchange rate on our purchase was fair, with followup to refine our choice.
One issue was removal of the carpet fringe without our permission. Many modern Australian homes prefer carpets without them, so their assumption was to remove it. The Service team promptly acknowledged their fault and offered us compensation with further products, which we have received.
Our treatment was patient, kind, respectful and effective. Our new carpet is a special addition to home, with inspiring memories.

I recently visited Channi Carpets & Textiles in Jaipur with the tour I was on and we got to see how hand knotted carpets and block printed fabric are made. The demonstrations were interesting and informative. My experience in the showrooms afterwards was great. I purchased one block printed tablecloth and a silk quilt cover in the textile shop. The range was great and the staff are helpful. I also purchased a two beautiful carpets which I had shipped home. I was asked to sign the carpet itself to ensure I received the actual carpet I chose in the showroom. They arranged the shipment of my carpets after I returned back home in Sydney. It all went to plan. My carpets were well packed to ensure no damage in transit and communication regarding courier and tracking details was clear and timely. I had a great experience with Channi Carpets & Textiles and couldn't be happier with my purchases. They are wonderful purchases to remind me of my first ever holiday to India ❤️

We were taken here as part of our tour. A fantastic experience we were shown block printing, carpet weaving, sari tying etc. I bought the most beautiful rug which arrived safely in Australia after a few weeks. I am so happy with it and all the products sold ( rugs, clothing, fabrics etc) were absolutely beautiful

While in India my husband and I purchased a rug from Channi Carpets and Textiles
After seeing how these beautiful rugs were made and going into the showroom we could not resist buying one
It was sent to Australia in perfect condition and sits in our tv area
It’s so beautiful we don’t want to put the coffee table on it
I would defiantly recommend purchasing from Channi again

A wonderful place to stop. The artisans use a traditional method of block printing which seems labor-intensive. Results: beautiful, brightly colored fabrics in many forms. We heard a presentation that was informative and clear. We had the opportunity to buy and the presenters were low-key and answered all our Qs. A good experience.

What wonderfully hand made carpets! Ordering anything whilst on holiday may seem a bit reckless but the carpet and design we saw was just stunning so we took the plunge and ordered the Wind Palace design. We need not have worried, we were kept fully advised on the making of the carpet and even received a picture by email to confirm whether this was what we had ordered. Delivery only took 6 weeks. The quality and feel of the carpet was just like in the store and will always remind us of a fabulous time in Jaipur

The visit to the Channi Carpet and Textile workshops and showrooms was one of the highlights of my trip to India. I found the whole enterprise most inspirational in the way it helped local people to make a better life for themselves. Having seen the intricate carpet weaving process, I bought two of the delightful carpets. They were excellent value for the craftsmanship involved. Padam, who showed us around, promised that the carpets would be delivered to my door ten working days after they were sent, and sure enough, they were. They are even more gorgeous than I remembered and they will always be a marvellous reminder of my trip to India. Thank you to all the staff at Channi Carpet and Textiles.

A lovely welcome with a mix of refreshments after we saw the block printing and carpet weaving stages.
Most of our tour group bought carpets and the process was easy and well organised.
Amazing variety and difficult to choose. We ended up buying two camel hair rugs which are so different and beautiful.
Balbir kept us informed regarding transit and they arrived in perfect condition. We were very impressed how well they were packaged.
Our rugs are a reminder of our wonderful travel experiences to India. Thank you

We had a wonderful experience at Channi. Loved seeing the whole process involved in making these gorgeous carpets. We were patiently shown many carpets, without pressure, and selected one for our living room, to be shipped to us in Connecticut. We had to delay the delivery because of our travel plans. Communication with Channi was excellent! The carpet was delivered exactly when we requested, and it is perfect. Thank you!

On a recent trip to India I was taken to Channi carpets. After a warm welcome we were shown block printing and rug making. I was then shown several rugs and my sister and I bought one each. The rugs arrived safely after a few days via DHL and we are both delighted with them. I would definitely recommend making a purchase here.

I saw Georgina B's post about Channi Carpets and how they had made a jacket, etc. Did they just take your measurements and make this - how did this come about? Did they have sample things, etc. This sounds like a fascinating place. Thanks for your information, nancy

Normally we take measurements here in our shop or in factory. wehave samples also and we have jackets in stock also. There is quite a about variety to choose from - you can contact us at our email address.
