I did the golden triangle tour with Varanasi and highly recommend if you want to explore the main highlights in India without hassle.
The tour is very well organised (booked it less than 2 weeks before departure), communication with Karni is super fast, efficient and smooth. The pace is well balanced: sightseeing in the morning and resting/ driving in the afternoon. Hotels are quite nice; far from the city center but this is the norm in these tours everywhere. Guides and drivers are friendly, professional and punctual:
- Mayur, my driver, was super respectful, thrusthworty and attentive, making me feel very safe all the time. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience suggesting changes to accommodate for better weather conditions and giving great tips of places to go/ eat. Top tier service!
- Ashok Tiwari, my guide in Varanasi, was kind enough to proactively adjust the tour to accommodate my late flight departure. He is very knowledgeable about Varanasi history, culture and Hinduism and speaks perfect English
- Krishan, my guide in Jaipur, will give you a class on Jaipur's history and monuments. He is also very transparent, explaining beforehand what you will see, making sure you are comfortable with the plan and allowing you options where he can
- My guide in Agra was super sweet, caring and patient while I stopped every 2 seconds for photos. Made me feel very comfortable and also has top photography skills!

Just returned from a brilliant Golden Triangle tour of India! As a solo traveller who has not used a tour operator before, I was a bit apprehensive but my fears were completely unfounded. The trip was very well organized, with prompt, clear and professional communication from the company throughout. If you are looking for a great budget trip of the best highlights, this is the tour for you!

My driver, Mayur, was respecful, kind and such a gentleman. I can not recommend him highly enough! He shared the itinerary very well daily, made suggestions for optional activities for any downtime, introduced me to Lassiwalla and Sanam, and did his best to accommodate any queries or requests I had. He made sure I felt safe and looked after the entire trip. A real asset to Swastik!
My guides in each city were also very good. They were: Rehman (Delhi), Chandan (Agra), Ali (Fatehpur Sikri) and Bhawani Singh (Jaipur). My Agra guide, Chandan, in particular, was excellent! He was knowledgeable, very sweet and offered constantly to be my official photographer (with a very good eye too!). He even bought some shoe covers to avoid the queues.

The accommodation was generally very good, and the homestay in Jaipur at Harnawa Haveli, was a highlight! It was great to have my own little balcony and garden in a traditional townhouse.

If you are a solo traveller, do be aware that you might be the only one on your trip. If this is something you are not comfortable with, contact the company prior to your trip to enquire. As it was a short trip, it did not bother me.

A great first taste of India! Can definitely recommend the Golden Triangle Tour of India. Thanks again Mayur and Swastik for a very memorable holiday.

Had an amazing adventure with Swastik Journeys India on a five day guided tour of the "Golden triangle": Dehli to Agra to Jaipur and back to Delhi.
The booking process was easy and the communication was excellent. I booked a pre-night stay and airport pickup.
Having everything organized made it very simple. I was picked up from the airport and transferred to my hotel by the best driver, ever, Mr Bhagirath! Each day he collected our small group at the hotel and drove us to the monuments where we had a local guide. Mr Bhagirath was professional, punctual and communicated our itinerary clearly. He even gave information as he drove safely through the challenging traffic.
We saw so many amazing things each day. Our hotels were clean and comfortable and included a buffet breakfast.
At the end of our trip, we were returned safely to the airport.
Having local currency to pay for the daily entrance fees was the biggest challenge. Make sure you have a minimum of $100 in rupees for fees and tips.
Would highly recommend this tour.

The tour was more than we expected. Having a personal driver (Mayur) that got us to every location safely and promptly was probably the most impressive part of the trip. In fact it created a special bond between Mayur my girlfriend and myself.
That being said, all the personal tour guides were highly knowledgeable, friendly and patient. They encouraged us to ask any questions if we had any. My girlfriend Pat and I learned so many things about the history of India and all of the the different cultures that interacted through the centuries that made India what it is today. I have to say out of all the amazing castles, monuments, city gates, fortress walls, palaces and mosques, the most impressive thing we saw was the Taj Mahal. It's more spectacular than we imagined. We now understsnd why it's one of the seven wonder of the world. To be honest to enjoy this adventure of India you have to be open minded. India is very crowed in certain cities. The condition of the roads, sidewalks, stores, restaurants and sanitation in general may be substandard to what you are use to, but the people in India make it work. They are real national treasure. The people of India are resilient, resourceful, devout, hard working, peaceful and kind. Last, the food is fantastic! We saw only a tiny glimpse of India in the five days. We hope to go back someday. If you get a chance, request Mayur as your driver,he also makes great suggestions for dinners and knows where to go for special treats. He's the best. Mahalo! Pat and Glenn from Hawaii.😀🤙🏽

We did the golden triangle from Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Pushkar-Mumbai over a period of 9 days. Booked through touradars/ Swashtik travel journeys. From start to finish it was professional. The Driver ( especially Sundeep who was our driver from Delhi through to Udaipur over 6 days) was very polite, informative, caring and looked after us on the roads around India. We felt very safe in his care. We had a different guide to every city we visited. Each guide was very informative, knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. Each guide followed the itinerary but was happy to be flexible to our personal needs. Having worked in hospitality/travel industry ourselves for over 30 years we appreciate the professionalism from start to finish of Swashtik tours. We highly 100% recommend this company

This was our first time in India and we booked very last minute. We are not normally “tour” people but felt it was the best way to make the most of our short time here. Mayur our driver was incredible. He drove us around the hectic streets calmly, was always friendly, and remembered every small detail to make our journey effortless as well as personalising our experience. He also recommended great spots for a relaxing night out or a morning lassi! Nothing was ever too much trouble. We had different guides at each city (Davendra, Chandan, Rheman & Krishan). Their knowledge not only of the historical sites, but also the best spots for photos, ticket queues and general information was invaluable.
It is impossible to imagine being able to appreciate these beautiful cities without guides or a driver.
The days were jam packed and there were a couple of long drives but this was all expected and didn’t detract from the experience.
Highly recommended!!

Tour was fanatic! Each of the local guides was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English, adding so much flavor to the experience. However the star of the show was Mayur, my driver. His attention to detail throughout the trip was incredible and he coordinated every stop to be seamless. He made sure I was taken care of every step of the way and was a lively travel companion through the hours of car travel. Thank you so much!

If I had any criticism, it would be the quality of the hotels. The first night there was no hot water in the shower. The last night I was woken up at midnight to pounding on the door because the staff needed the hairdryer in my room for another guest. Other than that, everything was great!

We have just returned from a fantastic Golden Triangle Tour with Swastik India Journeys. We had originally booked a tour with Swastik for 2021. The tour was paid for however COVID intervened and we had to cancel. Swastik refunded our costs without question, so booking with Swastik this time was an easy decision. The booking process was easy, they were accessible and communication was timely and accurate.

In a word, the trip was AMAZING. We were extremely well taken care of on every step of the journey. Our driver, Pradeep Singh, was very conscientious and careful throughout our five days with him skillfully negotiating the chaotic India roadways. We always felt safe and comfortable. Pradeep was also very accommodating and helpful throughout the trip making sure our needs were taken care of and helping with any issues or concerns we may have had. We could not have asked for a better person that Pradeep!

The guides in each city were very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the history of these amazing places. There is a lot to see and the guides were patient and took the time to ensure we got to spend the time to enjoy each location.

Don't hesitate to book with Swastik. You will be in good hands!

We the Golden Triangle tour, 5 days, 4 nights.
The tour was well put together. The places we visited were incredible.
Our driver for the 5 days was exceptional. My husband and I have been in India for 7 weeks and this driver was by far the best. His name is Mahendar Rao. His English is very good, he is happy and easy to be with for 5 days. Also, being in the car for many hours each day it’s important to note that Mahendar does not drink alcohol, smoke, or chew beetle nut. This means he has very clean teeth and fresh breath. He is always well groomed and polite. He keeps the car very clean and comfortable as well.
Mahendar is a very good driver — never too fast, always remained calm and cheerful even in thick traffic, and always was aware of what the vehicles around us were doing. His people-skills are excellent!
I truly believe Mahendar should be a guide, not just a driver!
I recommend this tour.

Incredible trip with Swastik India Journeys all made possible with the expertise of our very talented driver Mr Takhat. He went out of his way literally to make our journey an unforgettable one, taking us to additional places not listed, but a little off the travel path. In addition to the listed itinerary which in itself covers the top listed attractions of Rajasthan staying in good quality 3 star hotels, we saw the worlds oldest and steepest stepwell and experienced the Holi colour festival at the only place in India for international tourists which was a wonderful experience amongst like travellers. Prompt, informative, professional and funny, we very much enjoyed Mr Takhat's company. We highly recommended this tour and driver. Our vehicle was a Toyota Innova.
