My wife, a friend, and I spent ten days in India on a self-arranged tour with support from Gaurav at Heritage India Holidays. We chose our own itinerary and booked our own rooms while they provided the car, driver, and local guides. Everyone associated with the tour was extremely helpful, and the guides knew their stuff well enough to satisfy two university professors. Best of all, their pricing was better than any of other tour companies that I contacted, and their responsiveness to e-mails was impressive. We could have used a larger van (only two rows were usable when the van was carrying luggage), and it would have been helpful to know ahead of time that the guides expected substantial tips. But neither posed an insurmountable problem. We'll probably never go back to India, but if we did, we'd definitely book with them again!

If you're looking for a tour of Rajasthan, look no further than Heritage India Holidays and Vishal. And if you can, request Mr. Mahaveer as your driver! We did an "extended" Golden Triangle: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer, over a 2 week period before heading to Goa for a final week at the beach. What an eye-opening and incredible experience.

Vishal was absolutely wonderful. He was super responsive, made many updates based on our discussions and responses, had some great recommendations, and was very helpful even during our final week (which we booked on our own). He is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. If you're like us, and most people, the idea of planning a trip to India is a bit overwhelming, but it was extremely easy and stress-free with Vishal and his team.

A note on our driver: Mr. Mahaveer. He was absolutely amazing. Super friendly and we had some really fun conversations and some great laughs. If at all possible, request him and you will not regret it. I have no idea how, but he seems to know every street in every city without looking at GPS. He especially has some great suggestions of places to eat, etc in Jaipur, as this is his home town!

Highly recommend!!

From Jayesh Patel , Ashok Patel and family
For start we had a wonderful driver called Satendra Singh with a good knowledge of Industry and trust worthy .

Apart from 3 days at Delhi hotel , all other hotels at Amristar , Agra , Jaipur and Manvar hotels were of High Standard . The guides at all places were wonderful and with good knowledge of heritage sites.

The Manvar camp was unforgivably good .

We returned from Jodhpur to Surat was also areanged by Heritage India , again was very good .

My husband and I decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary in India by doing the Golden Triangle route and it was definitely a journey to remember.
A big shout out to our driver and big brother, Baba who is a skillful driver in India's mad traffic, but more importantly he has a heart of gold. He always ensured we were comfortable, safe and always had a big smile on his face at any time of the day! I would highly recommend a trip to India and do request for Baba to be your driver! 🙂

We found on most occasions that credit or debit cards were not accepted and that as tourists, we were being charged an inflated rate over our Indian counterparts. It would be useful to advice your guests that they need to carry a significant amount of cash as this is not the norm for us.

There seems to be a great disconnect between the tour guides urging them urging us to tip at every point on the tour and the government policy signs to the contrary.

We were brought to the trade shops to see Indian craftsmanship which was nice but then put in a position where we were expected and pressured to make significant purchases.

We are very impressed with Heritage India / Ecstatic India Tours. Here are the highlights of our trip with this travel agency:

- Planning: We contacted this travel agency a few months in advance and a gentleman named Dinesh advised us. He planned our trip very well and was always very responsive. He customized the trip as needed, for example by adding both Jodhpur and Udaipur to our trip.
- Driver: Driving is closer to an art than a discipline or science in India, and we were so happy to have Jeetu assigned to our trip. Jeetu was kind and a great driver for India, and his English is good enough for him to be understood by foreigners - we always felt safe as he was always making sure that a proper transition was made to the guides and never left us alone. He is the best, we highly recommend to have him part of your trip! We did a condensed trip and it was a lot of driving (3 to 5 hours most days), but well worth it. We stayed one night only in each city (except Jaipur, two nights), it might be better to stay two nights in Udaipur.
- Tour guide: Private tour guides were assigned to each city. The guides were excellent in the large cities (Agra, Delhi and Jaipur in particular), slightly less good in smaller towns (Fatehpur and Pushkar). Be aware that the tour guides will probably take you to local shops, they probably get a commission from these pushy merchants. Feel free to decline or listen to the local shop speeches without buying, some of the merchandise prices seemed high.
- Monuments and visits: We appreciated that all planning was done in advance, and our guides knew exactly where to take us. The monument fees add up to one to two thousand roupies per person per day, but well worth the expense. We loved all cities and visits. Our favorites cities were Agra for the Taj Mahal, and Udaipur for the lakes.
- Hotels: We chose the 5* package and didn't regret it. The agency found the best deals with great hotels for good prices. We were overall very satisified, and had very good and different experiences from old and beautiful Heritage Hotel in Jodhpur to splendid and modern Trident hotel in Udaipur.

Overall, we had a great experience with this travel agency. We will definitely travel with them again for our next India trip.

Visiting India was an amazing experience by itself !!
I spend several months searching when and what to visit in India and I have to confessed that was not an easy task .
A friend recommended me to Mr. Manohar from Ecstatic India Tours.
I started my trip in Jodhpur, Udaipur and Pushkar traveling around Majestic Rajasthan for 4 days with them.
We had an excellent driver Mr. Santosh that made our trip unforgettable and Mr. Manohar organizing everything for us.
We stopped to feed monkeys in the road , we stopped to take hundreds of photos in a Camel trading event, we slept in a nomads tent camp, we took photos of wonderful people working in the fields and picturesque landscapes wherever we drove.
Our driver was always very happy that we were enjoying such simple things during our trip but kept us on schedule so that we were able to meet with our guides in different locations.
Our guides were also very knowledgeable and flexible with our needs.
After that first tour ended we met with two more friends and we took another tour to Golden Triangle with the same company.
We had the fortune to count with Mr Manohar and Mr. Santosh again , which made traveling worry free for us .
I really enjoyed Jaipur’s Elephant ride at Amber Fort , shopping and especially watching everywhere we went Indian weddings ( oficial day for weddings is October 31 ).
During our nine days with our tour company I can recommend them to everyone that likes to travel in a safe-comfortable way and also likes to customize their trips.

It was lucky that we found this company and were able to plan our eight days with them. From the moment Ashok, our driver, met us at Delhi airport, all aspects of our trip were well managed. Ashok's driving was nothing short of amazing in the seeming chaos that is the traffic in and between the cities. Our accommodation was in excellent 5* hotels where service and helpfulness was splendid. We started in Delhi, then to Agra, Jaipur and finally Udaipur, an almost 8-hour car ride from Jaipur, returning by air to Delhi. Our guides each day were competent and interesting and we declined the shopping experiences after the first couple of days! There were many wonderful places and a particular surprise was in Jaipur when we were fascinated by the UNESCO world heritage site, the Jantar Mantar observatory. Udaipur was refreshing, clean air, beautiful views, the lakes and a stay at the Trident Hotel in its 33 acre grounds. We had difficulty in getting rupees in the UK due to India's demonetization but the hotels were helpful. It's useful to have plenty of 'small' and other notes for tips. These are required frequently for loo visits, tuk tuk drivers and for the daily guides etc as well as our invaluable driver. On reflection we feel more than one day for places like Delhi would be good but our timetable couldn't accommodate this. We saw as much as possible and have so many positive and happy memories.

I can't really say enough good things about our experience on a 28 day trip thru both Rajastan and Kerala w Heritage India Holidays. Heritage is a closely managed family business with a vast network of travel connections, who are there for you thruout your trip. Vishal was extremely patient with all my questions before hand, I booked this 6 months in advance and made a lot of customizations and changes to the standard Gold Triangle tour. Especially in Kerala, we did a lot of our own booking, Vishal provided an excellent driver/guide there also who was super knowledgeable and really helped us is the remote areas of Munnar . Vishal is there to make your visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The drivers and guides, itinerary sites they provided were outstanding. The lodging was excellent. We were in touch always thru Whatsapp, if there were questions we got them answered quickly. We were lucky to be in Jaipur for Diwali, Vishal was kind enough to invite us over to meet his family, parents, brother and sister in law, which was just awesome. They and so many people in India are extremely warm and welcoming. The trip was life changing for both of us in a very good way. I'd highly recommend Heritage if you are considering a visit to India.

Our group of 15 adults chartered this bus to bring us from Delhi IGIA airport to Jaipur and then for local touring in Jaipur.
Very attentive to our comfort and satisfaction Heritage India sent along an advisor. Mr.Vishai Sharma spoke fluent English and helped us frequently and in many ways, often saving us time and energy.
Whenever we return to Jaipur we’ll surely charter our bus from Heritage India
