It was a fantastic trip to Rajasthan with the Royal Rajasthan India Tour. My ride was very smooth and easy. The car was well maintained and was in good condition. Our Driver Vijay Ji, was very polite and knowledgeable. The positive attitude of the owner (Jatin ji) and driver (Vijay ji) gave me a chance to highly recommend it to all.❤❤

When i started emailing Rampal from Royal Rajasthan India Tours (which i will call RRIT) I felt I was dealing with a large company given its rave reviews on tripadvisor. We initially selected this company because they were flexible and listened to our requirements. they id not try to squeeze us into their box or route… more on this later. We did find that although we both spoke and communicated in english, nuances can be differently understood and we found this throughout our three weeks in India. It is not the language but rather interpretation. Given how flexible RRIT was, they needed to be patient with us as we did not fully appreciate the logistics of what we were asking. It became clear that they understood Rajasthan, and what could and could not be done, far better than we. For example when we looked at a map we could not understand why one city was recommended in a different route order to that which appeared logical on the map…entirely our fault, however our future guides were patient and persistent to design the best outcome for us. We booked our trip in August in preparation for our trip in January 2018. Our trip was planned to coincide with the Jaipur ZEE literary festival (unbelievably good even for people who don’t read non-fiction I might add). We wanted a particular style and star level style hotels and the all up rate quoted appeared reasonable from my research on hotels .com and other websites. We had to pay this cost upfront to secure the accommodation. RRIT did not require their fee until arrival in India…not even a deposit. Prior to departure, we realised that we had misread the dates for the festival! We contacted RRIT and within three days had rearranged the relevant accommodation dates and the itinerary and there was not even a suggestion of extra charge. All done….not that i would ever recommend this course of action! I remember Rampal kept telling me to "Don't worry". On arrival at our pickup point in Jaipur we met our driver (Rakesh pronounced Lakesh). What a gem he is. Over an 11 day period we learned a lot about each other and about India . Knowledgeable, kind, concerned, professional, interested, trustworthy and a sense of humour! We cannot speak highly enough of him. He also taught us some very useful Hindi phrases and recommended quality restaurants in the cities where we stayed. The hotels we stayed at were on the whole fantastic and exactly what we were hoping for…some a little run down but like living in an old castle….very atmospheric. We will recommend RRIT to our friends and we thoroughly recommend our new friend Rakesh. A couple of de-stresses. RRIT wanted cash on arrival and this proved problematic because our cash cards did not work as expected…so make sure they work up front. You need lots to tip money10 rupees ($US 0.15c ) 20s and 50s. We were initially unable to to tip because we had mostly large notes. Tipping is not required but service staff are paid poorly and a good tip goes a very long way. Rakesh again came to the fore by changing money for us when he could. Learn a couple of phrases like thank you dunya wud to hindis and shakria to muslims and good morning superbart…they pay huge dividends even "no... i do not want" Nahi jahaira gets smiles as does maafi (sorry).

This was my second tour with Royal Rajasthan India Tours - the first one being in September 2016 with my mother and niece. This time it was with my wife. I chose this Tour company based on my previous experience with them viz a viz 1 the excellent car provided 2 the professional service provided by Jatin and his father Mr Rampal Rao 3 the friendliness and 'family' atmosphere I was expecting the same on this trip and what do I get 1 a brand new Toyota Innova - for a party of 2 - very comfortable 2 excellent driver and amazing guide Rakesh. 3 the services of Jatin at all times. We did the golden triangle starting from Delhi to Agra and Jaipur. The total days spent with Rakesh was 7 days. Rakesh was very knowledgeable and a fantastic guide> He gave us a history of the sites and we covered historical sites that we missed out in my previous visit. I cannot commend the professional service, mannersim and timing of Rakesh - he was perfect and we did not have any issues with him. He came in highly recommended by Jatin and Rakesh did live up to and exceeded our expectations. In Jaipur we met Jatin and we were invited to his wedding but we could not make it. We hope he is now settled in a family life. Mr Rao was not too well and we hope he has now recovered - the stress may be due to funding Jatin's wedding !!! I would highly recommend ROYAL RAJASTHAN INDIA TOURS for all those considering the Golden Triangle Tour. You will not be disappointed Many many thanks for my wife and myself for the hospitality extended to us especially Rakesh who we consider part of the family. Gulam February 2018

We had a amazing experience with Royal Rajasthan Tours and specially the driver Mr. Rakesh. One of the excellent driver i had ever met in India, He is very kind and helpful and gave us a VIP feeling during the whole journey, starting from Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Udaipur. The best part is that they gave me a surprise on the first day when i saw they offerred me a latest model Suv car. Royal Rajasthan India Tour surpassed all our expectations and I believe we have made true friends in India of them and will definitely be our only choice of a tour agent should I revisit India. Highly Recommend!
