The worst Cinem experience in years... Dilapidated building, broken and torn seats and covers, stinky washrooms and ZERO administration and maintenance... Terrible Place, Terrible Experience... Please don't watch any movie here... The whole place should be run down and remade...

Earlier known as Prem Prakash, witth change of management, it is now known as Golcha cinema. Located at the end of Chaura Rasta, towards near new gate, it has been renovated and converted in a multiplex from single screen cinema. It is also a venue for Jaipur International Film Festival. Parking space is limited. Ticket price is equal to other high grade cinemas halls.

Hi
We had a great time at the cinema. The movie was in Hindi, but classic "boy meets girl" plot and easy to follow.
Handsome men (according to my wife) gorgeous girls, lots of dancing .
Popcorn and coke are a pleasant break from papadums.

This place is located near New Gate and near junction of Bapu Bazar, Nehru Bazar and Chaura Rasta Bazar. This was once a very famous single screen cinema hall and was known as Prem Prakash Talkies. At a moment in its history an attempt to renovate it was made. However it stopped halfway but screening of movies continued for years in half finished hall. Later, when people stopped visiting cinema halls in large numbers as they used to do earlier, Prem Prakash evolved itself in to a multiplex. Its three screens are have been named- Tivoli, Chandra Mahal and Nile. In fact Polo Victory, Minerva, and Prem Prakash are now the only oldest cinema halls of Jaipur that are still surviving, rest like Gem, Man Prakash, Mayur, Ram Prakash, Shalimar, Ambar have all vanished.
