Even if you don't want to buy anything, it is worth having a walk through the Johri Bazaar just to experience the sights and sound but bear in mind that it will be extremely busy and crowded. If you do want to shop, then this is the place for you as long as you have got your wits about you to spot the genuine article and are prepared to haggle. There's a lot of 'wedding' related items. Look out especially for, on the first floor, brightly coloured turbans which can be hired.

One can shop to his/her heart’s contentment as all items are exhibited very artistically. Generally it is very crowded & road is bustling with heavy traffic movement.

Nice market for lesser budget shopping. Good variety of products. Need to be careful with prices and must bargain. Parking is available but may be difficult during peak hours. Nice Mishthan store and lassi kulfi places

It is a place for local persons or if you are a good trader & know real value for the stuff.
Be careful about jewellery you might get fake, if you are not a knowledgeble person.
Shopkeepers here & hawamahal are very smart .

Johari Bazaar is one of Jaipur’s most famous street, a straight colonnade screened above by the facades of adjoining houses. Everything is painted orange and terracotta. This is said to be the oldest market area in Jaipur. Here you will find exquisite Jaipuri jewellery made of gold, silver, diamonds and emeralds. The narrow lanes are full of loads of shops that sell jewellery and clothes. An amazing collection of sarees, ‘lehengas’ and ‘juttis’ (traditional foot wears). It is worth walking down this street just for the experience. The smell and sounds are unique.

Located at a walking distance from the City Palace/ Jantar Mantar/ Hawa Mahal, this market area is a great place to buy anything & everything. If you're looking for traditional Rajasthani items, you'll be spoilt for choice here. If you're looking for wedding - related finery, this is the place.
The entire market has been made in a consistent color scheme of 'Pink City' giving it a charming look. However, do note, there is no parking available here. So, leave your car behind & catch a public transport.
