Multiple options market.
Dec 2020 • Family
A huge market with variety of items. Most of all items related to wedding are available apart from dry fruits, hardware and so many other items. The only thing you should have the ability to bargain. Due to night curfew in Rajasthan all shops close by 7pm so get there early. Its difficult to walk the entire market in a day. You need atleast 3 days to see the entire market.

A place to shop for local Rajasthani craft. Please do negotiate as much as possible. It’s a place to get good bargains.

Good shopping
Dec 2019
This is one of the popular markets in Jaipur and appears to be on the list of every tour guide. It is in the heart of ‘pink city’. Here you can find all the usual things like the most colourful textiles, handicrafts, brass works, footwear and precious stones which Jaipur is famous for. This market is also famous for ‘mojri’, the Indian sandals. If you are buying, remember you are expected to bargain.

Bargain well for good deal
Apr 2019
Our experience at Bapu Bazar was best for Jaipuri Cotton Bedsheets, Bedcovers, & Rajais which is of good quality, having fast colour and interesting floral & animal prints. One must know to bargain well though, few shops have fixed price too.
Bandhani & lahariya Sarees & Dupatta's with Gota work was another things which we bought from there at good bargain. Mojari is also available in different colours, styles and material like cloth, leather, etc. Its a must visit place for artifacts like home decor items & as well as artificial jewelry. Jaipur is famous for its lakh bangles and semi precious stone jewelry too.

Shopper's paradise
Jan 2020
If you have not visited Bappu Bazar while in Jaipur, your trip might be incomplete. An array of shops are lined in a symmetrical manner selling local arts, crafts, accessories, clothes and food items. Bargaining skills are a must. Location is right in middle of city, very close by to Jaipur Railway Station. Do visit and have good shopping experience.

This is a nice city market in the old city of Jaipur . Actually the shops are located under the colonnades of the old wall of the city . Clothes , art , Indian fashion , bed sheets, jewelry, very colorful . Bargaining is the name of the game here .

Colorful but overwhelming
Oct 2019
The market is quite big and very crowded. You will find all sorts of things such as jewelry, clothing and souvenirs. The quality is ranged from good to cheap & junkie. We did not enjoy shopping here as the sellers were very pushy and persistent. Once you touch their products, they would not let you go, so scary! But it is still a nice place to walk around and "window" shopping.

For everyone
Jan 2020
It is best to go there by 11AM and get out by lunch time - it gets crazy busy after that. We did not find it easy to bargain at many places. Did manage to get wonderful bed covers and bedsheets at very reasonable prices. Most big shops would even ship the goods to your home. There are too many shops selling similar things so it is not the easiest to find the right shops but we found good looking sheets at Mona prints.

Jewellery can be bought at a number of jobs - silver, real gems and costume jewelry. Need to have the time and patience to sift through wares. Do wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking and cars cannot stop in the market.
