Janu Tours never fails me. I booked another great visit in the Jaipur area, this time visiting Abhaneri and its famous step well and temple. I booked this at the last minute, and Janu came through once again with very professional staff. Mr Khan was on time at the airport to pick me up and start an an awesome day. When in Jaipur, don’t miss Janu.

We came across Janu tours simply by luck. I booked a visit to the amazing Elephant sanctuary- Elefantastic and Janu collected us from the hotel. The first thing I noticed was how every effort was made to ensure all health and safety precautions were adhered to. The car was spotlessly clean with masks and hand sanitizer and there was plenty of legroom. Within the first 10 mins of the drive, I had booked a full day tour of Jaipur for the next day! Jaanu was very welcoming and myself and my daughter felt safe in his presence. We started off our journey with a delicious Lassi, visited Monkey Temple which is a must, Amber fort which overlooked the city and were accompanied by Akram, a very knowledgeable tour guide with a wonderful disposition. We also visited the Pink City and had a tour around the palace rich with history. I mentioned a food place I had seen on youtube and he was more than happy to rearrange the itinerary to take us there. We were also taken to see the stepwells also to a local fabric place to learn about the art of block painting and my daughter was given a lesson and her work to take away. I found the store next door and bought a beautiful handmade tapestry. We ended the day with masala chai with the locals. On our final night in Jaipur, we were invited to his "not fancy" (but definitely fancy) hotel- The Marigold Inn, for a beautiful evening meal on the roof top terrace, cooked by his in house chef. I managed to have a look at the rooms and will definitely be staying there next time! The rooms are individually designed with all mod cons and the little touches that turn them from standard rooms, to a home from home. The staff- his friends, were really welcoming and the whole experience was one to remember. Jaanu himself is a vibrant character who cannot do enough to make sure you are happy. He even arranged for a car and driver from his company to take us back to Delhi. COVID has knocked everyone for six and although initially I was worried to travel, my weekend ended up being perfect, so much so, that I am now planning a tour of Rajasthan for Christmas with Jaanu's tour company. My eyes have been opened to Incredible India and I'm lookimg forward to exploring more. Thank you Jaanu and to all involved in our trip :) See you soon!

My husband booked our guides for our India trip from home, and we could not have been happier that he chose Janu Private Tours for our stay in Jaipur. The owner himself chose to be our guide and both he and our driver spoke excellent English and have an encyclopedic history of The Pink City. They gave us memorable days, showing us the many intoxicating sites and shops where we could not resist some souvenirs to remind us of that remarkable visit. Janu and his team were extremely professional in every way. We can highly recommend them for your India experience.

We were with Janu Private Tours for 10 wonderful, exciting, exhilarating days. We arrived a couple days early, and Janu made sure we were busy and took us all around Jaipur. The traffic was not something I would want to even try, but they made it fun and exciting. We had private tours in Jaipur, Agra, and Udaipur. They outdid themselves to accommodate us whether it was shopping, eating or sightseeing. It was important to them to spend enough time with us to get to know us. By the time we left, I felt like we were with relatives. We had amazing drivers and guides. Naveen drove our van and went with us on the long trips. He was wonderful. We couldn't celebrate the normal Holi Festival because of Covid-19, so Janu, his brother, Naveen, and the rest of the crew spent the day at Janu's private roof-top, Naveen's mothers house, his wife's house and then ate dinner at a friend’s house. All the guides were deeply knowledgeable everywhere we went. They knew their history and all about every place we visited. They were able to answer all our questions. They made it fun and amazing. We visited temples, forts, the flower market and many other places. It is hard to put into words, but it was an absolutely amazing trip. I would love to go back. Janu has built his business to the point where I can’t imagine using any other private tour. Thank you Janu, Naveen, Madan Singh, and all the others who we spent time with.
