About
Indo Cooking classes in Jaipur by Suman are a kind of crash course that is most suitable for individual Tourists and groups from foreign countries. My cooking sessions are designed especially for non-Indian nationals to enable them to cook Indian food in their own kitchen back home easily in the basic kitchen and without complications. Basic classes for 3 hours cost just Rs. 3000 (around USD 40) and intensive classes of around 6-7 hours cost Rs. 4500 (around USD 60) per person. A cooking tour including cooking sessions as well as visiting markets and spice shops etc. is also offered for those who have more time at their disposal. Please do send me an email for more details and also visit my website to know more about the contents of my different cooking sessions! Discounts are available if you are more than 2 Persons. Please feel free to write me to get more information – Happy Indian Cooking!

We had a cooking class with Suman Minglani in Jaipur for 5 days. It was a wonderful time. Suman teached us her traditional Indian cooking every day for 3 or 4 hours for the lunch. Se was very friendly and patient and tought us 4-5 meals every day. Breakfast und dinner she made for us, all the meals we had together with her husband Sunjeev and Suman. We fellt like a family with them.
We lived in a flat in the same house, one floor upstairs...very cleen and comfortable.
They helped us in every way, for example getting a taxi, or finding the right shop for Shopping.
It was a wonderful week with them!!!

Had a lot of fun staying in Jaipur for a week and learned a lot about Indian dishes and the basics of spices and cooking! Nothing could have prepared me for the way Suman makes her naan and tandoori roti, and I'll make sure to surprise my friends and family with that method as well. We made a variety of dishes, both savory and sweet, and ate them all. I don't think that after this course I could ever forget how many tomatoes I should add for every onion. Thanks Suman & family and hope to see you again!

Learning from Suman was a highlight of my time in Jaipur. She is both a talented cook and a natural teacher. I felt more like a friend joining her in her kitchen than a client.

I have been cooking Indian food fo many years but it has always been missing something. I had read the reviews on Tripadvisor and they were true to word. The cooking course was extremely factual, simple and full of hints and tips. My Indian cooking has now excelled so much and it is simply down to this course and Suman!

If you want to learn how to cook Indian food then this course is a must.

Thank you so much and sorry it has taken so long to leave a review.

My partner and I visited Suman in her kitchen in February. Suman is not only a great chef but a wonderful teacher. She made us feel very welcome in her home and made sure to give us the great tips to Indian cooking that you don't get from recipes. Suman was interested about how we cook Indian food at home and showed us ways to improve and better the process. Suman was very interesting to talk to, happy to share with us about Jaipur, her life and her family. Her kitchen is located in a quiet and very scenic part of the town away from the hustle and bustle of central Jaipur. Thank you Suman, I would highly recommend this cooking course.

We attended a 5 hour vegan cooking course and it was very enjoyable day. I do a lot of vegan Indian cooking so the ingredients were all familiar to me but the cooking techniques were different and on trying these at home they definitely improve the overall flavour. Also it is all much simpler than I has realised and using less spice lets you appreciate the flavours better

This was an educational and culinary highlight of India. Suman was a great host and visited her beautiful flat in Jaipur. It was great to learn lots of different vegetarian and vegan dishes in an authentic Indian way. Also we had lunch afterwards with her partner and other house guests.

We were initially looking for a cooking course with other travelers but Suman's reviews were so good that we chose this course... and we weren't disappointed as the one-on-one was a great experience. And, in reality, it wasn't one-on-one as Suman had her trusty helper and we dined with Suman and her husband, which was a highlight of the day.

We love to cook and loved learning the authentic methods of certain dishes (Suman asked us ahead of time what we wanted to learn).

Suman was warm, welcoming and put us to shame with her impeccable English. There may well be other good courses out there, but we cannot recommend Suman enough.

We had a wonderful morning with Suman learning about some of our favourite dishes. Suman was very accommodating allowing us to include some dishes we really wanted to know how to make. The advantage of the class was that it was just me and my husband in Suman's kitchen so we could ask many questions and had a chance to make some of the breads. We would recommend this class to others:) Thank you Susan!
