The entrance is from the Atish Bazaar. The ticket window is on the first level, and there is discount for students (on showing them a valid Student ID).
They will allow upto 8-10 people to go up in one go. There is a narrow ramp to climb up. The view from the top chhattri is totally worth the climb!

Not worth the climb as view blocked by smog. Could be interesting if Jaipur resloves it air quality issues.

We loved our visit to Swagasuli Tower in Jaipur. We had a universal entry ticket which applied to about 10 different sites across and outside of Jaipur and this tower was one of the sites included. We began to climb the circular ramp up the tower and were mesmerized about how long and claustrophobic the climb was. I am still scratching my head as to how a structure like this was ever built... it was simply impressive beyond words. Once we arrived at the tower top I was slightly disappointed with the view which I thought would be more impressive. I really thought the sites from the top would be more impressive but it seemed a bit bland to me. Nonetheless, I would enthusiastically endorse a visit and climb up this tower. We were lucky that there were minimal crowds with us during the visit which would have been difficult given the small space at the top.

Our fab driver took us here first thing this morning so we could get a feel for Jaipur before visiting the more famous sights - and what a great suggestion it was ! So it’s a bit of a climb up (via more of a ramp / “flat steps” if you could call them that), but there are two small stopping points on the way up, so we found the ascend manageable and we’re not particularly fit.

When we got to the top we were like “wowee”. You can see the whole city and get a really good perspective of beautiful enchanting Jaipur.

What an intro!

On our second day touring Jaipur and having done the well known sights - we decided to visit this tower. There are quite a few stairs to climb but the view at the top if wonderful looking across to the Tiger Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal and also over the Pink City. We were there on 14 January - the day of the annual kite festival which is also a public holiday so we could see the parties on all the roofs of the old town plus the little kites fluttering in the sky. If you want a perspective of this beautiful city - take the time to climb to the top. Note the entrance is from the road behind the main road - so not as easy to find as we had expected!

Interesting tower, although quite a steep climb to the top. Some great views across Jaipur. Included in the old-in-one ticket. 5 minutes walk from Jantar Mantar.

If you are bidding Jantar mantar and City palace , than don't miss this place, as you can get a bird eye view of Jaipur from here. Superb windy location.

Definitely worth it. The breeze at the top is reason alone, not to mention the incredible view. It is a bit hard to locate the entrance. It is across from a parking lot. You can’t really identify it from the outside. There is a brown sign on the side of the street saying ‘ishwara’ and pointing at some stairs and a door (the door was green but was in the process of being painted white when we were there). Through the door and up more stair to get to the entrance. The tower is 7 stories high but the climb really isn’t bad. No stairs, slow incline all the way up- very manageable even in the heat.
