The Carpet and Textile House was part of our tour in Jaipur. We didn't intend on buying a carpet when we entered the House, but after witnessing the craftmanship and the wide range of beautiful carpets, we knew we had to have one in our home. We enjoyed and learned quite a bit about carpet making the traditional way during our interaction with the artists and the staff here. The most difficult part of the visit was determining what carpet we wanted. Once we did, the rest was easy. The House has you take a picture of the carpet and put your initials on the back of the carpet so you are confident that you receive the carpet you ordered. They pay for the shipping and any custom duties if they apply, and then it is delivered to your front door on the date they said it would arrive. For us it took a little over one week. We couldn't be happier.

We visited Textile carpet house just a few weeks ago and we had an amazing experience. The demonstration of how this beautiful master pieces are made, the ppl, who tediously and meticulously make this beautiful rugs, are just incredible. The service and trust is second to none. I am not sure I'll ever buy a rug anywhere else. They are just a phone call away. And I trust them to do business a half world away. 🙏👍🏻

We saw the ladies and gentlemen handcrafting the beautiful carpets in intricate patterns,painstaking work .Then we were shown an amazing array of wool and silk carpets, could not resist this oppurtunity to buy something totally unique. The service and prompt delivery of a well packaged carpet on our return home was excellent.

We were given a very comprehensive rundown of the different carpets and textiles, plus a tour of the mills. We were able to spend a lot of time viewing different designs with no pressure to purchase and ended up making a few purchases. The delivery was seamless and on time half way around the world and we are so happy with the outcome.

A wonderful shopping experience. I had difficulty finding two matching runners for our home but the carpet & textiles made them for me. They came last week and they are beautiful, excellent quality. Sameer can’t be more helpful. He’s very responsive and went to the village where the carpets were made and checked on them personally. The retail shop is a must visit if you are in the area. India is a magical place combined old and new. One trip is not enough; we look forward to visiting again.

We were taken here by our tour guide and were not disappointed. We got a lot of interesting information and history about the process of making the hand knotted rugs, etc. we ended up buying a beautiful elephant rug and having hooks put on so we could hang it. It was shipped quickly and looks beautiful on our wall.

We enjoyed seeing how carpets are handwoven and hand cut. The wood block printing was also interesting to see. This is also a store that sells carpets and various woodblock fabric creations. The carpets are truly beautiful- many types and colors. Make sure to measure at home, if you’re thinking of buying. The wood block fabrics are made into table cloths, bags, scarves or even custom tailored clothes, Would definitely recommend!

This is an excellent business. We were given a demonstration of some of the incredibly skilful work going on, and shown many of the beautiful carpets available, including some made from recycled saris: wonderful colours! A time-consuming process, goods made with rigour and passion by the amazing craftsmen. The carpet I chose was sent to UK and arrived in excellent time. It will be treasured.
