- Tiffany MSydney, Australia16 contributionsMust do cooking class in JaipurWe had the best day at the Pink City Cooking Class, exceptional doesn’t even do it justice!! Dimple is such a beautiful cook and has the patience of a saint. We cooked all of my favourite dishes and it was so pleasant eating our handiwork together. Really highly recommend to out this on your itinerary next time you visit Jaipur, we are very keen to recreate these dishes once we are home.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 October 2023
- Paige K4 contributionsAMAZING AMAZING AMAZINGThis is the perfect place to go if you want a simple but extensive lesson on Indian food and cooking. Dimple and her husband are beautiful people who are so very kind, helpful, and very good at what they do. Some of the best Indian food we've had in India, and the leftovers go to the poor. Such a wonderful experience in a beautiful home. Highly recommend for anyone curious about Indian cuisine; you do not have to be a chef to make wonderful food here!Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 27 October 2023
- Nanou M7 contributionsAmazing cooking class and lovely homestayWe had an amazing time at the Pink City Cooking Class! We learned how to cook delicious local dishes and loved the friendly family vibe. In fact, we liked it so much that we decided to skip our hostel and stay a bit longer in their cozy homestay. It was a great mix of tasty food and a welcoming atmosphere. It's a fantastic experience for anyone visiting Jaipur!Visited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 15 November 2023
- Daisy18 contributionsAmazing cooking! Life lessons for your tummy!Truly amazing, wholesome and eye opening experience: amust-do in Jaipur 😍 Lovely couple (and family) who guide you through creating a beautiful feast - dinner included! So much food at the end and taste according to your liking. You receive recipes to take home with you too 😋 Any food left over is given away to the poor (as it was too much for us at least!) which means you can help give back while learning a lot Thanks so much to you both! - Brikena7 contributionsEnchanting cooking courseWe attended a cooking course hosted by a delightful couple, sweet Dimple being the Chef. Their friendliness added to the experience, and the abundant, delicious food made it worthwhile. The location, including a charming rooftop terrace, enhanced the overall appeal. Highly recommend for those eager to recreate restaurant-quality dishes.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 November 2023
- Hungus KiwiRotorua, New Zealand89 contributionsFun. Personal. Delicious recipes. My brother and I went here today as an activity to do in Jaipur, we both love cooking. This was great. The hosts were lovely and we enjoyed being in their home, rather than being I'm a commercial set up. The classes are private, so it was just us. The food we cooked was straight forward, and delicious, and we received all the recipes afterwards. I've definitely up leveled my Indian cooking game!Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 15 December 2023
- Tiziana G7 contributionsBest way to end my tripThat was a great experience! After a month in India it was about time to Lear what I have been eating and there was no better place to do it! You really puts your hand under a very attentive supervision. All the spices make sense now! If you want to have a culinary experience you should try it!Visited December 2023Travelled soloWritten 19 December 2023
- CeramicianFiumicino, Italy41 contributionsUnforgettable 5-star cooking experienceWe had high expectations because of the great reviews. This experience did not disappoint. Our extended family of 16 (10 adults and 6 kids) including one professional chef had a fantastic time. The cooking studio is in the same building where Bunty and Dimple live. They welcomed us warmly and made us feel comfortable with their hospitality and smiles. Dimple is a wonderful cook and their daughter translated into English. Dimple taught us a number of home-style vegetarian dishes including Briyani, paneer curry, dahl, eggplant and potatoes. All the food tastes better than any food we have had in restaurants. We can take what we learned and cook these dishes when we get back home. Without a doubt a 5-star experience.Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 1 January 2024
- Ella S17 contributionsBest activity in Jaipur! One of the best things to do in Jaipur! Make sure you’re hungry! We made pakoras, chai, different breads, dal, curries and rice. We were also sent all the recipes afterwards, it’s great value for money! Bunty & Dimple are so welcoming, a family home is the best way to experience a cooking class. We loved that it could be just us so we could all really get involved! Highly recommend!!Visited January 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 6 January 2024

This cooking class exceeded all our expectations. The food that you cook is amazing and even though we did the class today, I already cannot wait to cook all the food again at home for my friends. However, even though the food was mouthwatering good, the food isn’t even the best thing. The best thing about this cooking class, is the family that runs it. Such caring, loving, kind and fun people. We just got home and I’m writing this review right away just because I don’t want to wait a second with thanking them for the great time. Father as friendly, interested host, mother as energised, smiling chef and daughter as very engaged and sweet translator. Also an aunt came by who joined the company, to underline the feeling of being part of this family. As cherry on the pie (understatement) they took us to a celebration in the days before holi, put me in a saree and we had the most incredible time together. They took care of us in a way that you can never expect.
It was the most personal workshop and definitely most personal cooking class I ever did, and the fact I am absolutely sure I will make all dishes at home by myself feels like a bonus.
It will not surprise you, if you took the time to read this complete review, that I absolutely recommend this experience. This family deserves staying the #1 workshop in Jaipur.

We attended a cooking class today with Dimple and her son -and we absolutely loved it! We made 8 different things and we loved every single one of them. We really felt like a part of the family, as they welcomed us into their home and we learnt all the different recipes. It was amazing to practice the techniques with Dimple and we had so much fun the whole time, we would highly recommend this cooking class !! The proceeds go towards worthy causes and the food does not get wasted!
Her son sent us all the recipes so we could make them all at home, which we really appreciate as there was so much to remember !
Both of them are so lovely and it was a pleasure to learn from Dimple. Thank you!

I did the Pink City Cooking Class as a solo traveller on the 19/11/22 and had a very enjoyable time. The family were so hospitable and made sure I was learning and having fun at the same time. This cooking class started with entree style dishes and moved on to main dishes which we sat down to eat together afterwards. I highly recommend Pink City Cooking Class to anyone visiting Jaipur to get an authentic taste of Rajasthan.

This cooking class is for sure the best one I did so far. Dimple and her husband make you feel at home instantly and will do everything you want to cook. The food is one of the best I had in India 😍 They are so experienced and only cook with the freshest of vegetables. All their spices are homemade and they know a lot about every spice and suggest a lot of different recipes which you could do with the ones you‘ll get anyway. I booked the class 6h before it actually started and a vegan one was possible as well 😇
If I had to recommend one thing in Jaipur, it would be this cooking class 😍 I‘ll be happy to do another class when I come back to Jaipur. 🙏🏼

10/10. To have the opportunity to learn this stuff in someone’s home in such a welcoming and comfortable local environment is really special. The variety of dishes learned in such a short time is amazing, as I felt like I got a taste of many different types of foods from bread and rice to fried snacks to curries. Another unbelievable aspect of this place is that every single produce item came from their family farm which I think is really cool. Thankful that places like this exist.

This class was a wonderful culinary experience with a lovely, warm and caring family. We observe strict kosher dietary restrictions and our guide brought me to meet Bhoomi and her father to see if we could create a kosher Indian cooking class at their home. They were very helpul and understanding of our needs and when we arrived the next day for our class, everything was perfect. It was please to witness Dimple's love of cooking and learn her cooking traditions that she learned from her mother. All the ingredients were fresh and fragrant and the food we made was delicious! We really enjoyed doing a cooking class in a family home.

We are so so glad that we went on a cooking class with Pink City Cooking! Their home is beautiful and so are they. Both mother and son we're so kind and attentive, we did the 12 courses class and everything tasted excellent.
We learnt about the spices and different masala, how to roll chipattis and making chai masala was very interesting!
We sat down to a feast, dont worry, no food is wasted. It's given our after we are finished.
It happened to be a family festival on the day we visited so they kindly let us join for that too. Dimple and her son are the most generous and kindest of people.
I highly recommend you join them!
