On entry to the Museum there is a small video presentation which is very informative. There is an excellent display of precious stones from mining to manufacturing. Gem stones, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamonds, Tanzanite, Blue Topaz.....and the list is endless, One should not miss the jewellery display ranging from Victorian Jewellery, to the Kundan-Meena, Gold and the Diamond Jewellery including the Silver jewellery. There are also helpful panels replete with scientific and historical information for the interested visitor. The Manager in charge is very friendly, patiently explaining the various sections in the museum, answering your questions and finally taking a pic of you for your visit as cameras are not allowed. We were told that this museum is only one if its kind in the country and after the visit one is convinced.

I had heard about the Gem and Jewellery museum since a long time , I had visited it today with a close friend of mine.
I was highly impressed by the amount of information it has regarding gemstones , jewellery and how they are mined and manufactured . It is a must visit for anyone visiting Jaipur . I wish that it is promoted more on an international level so that tourists in Jaipur are aware about its presence and collection of rare stones in it .

Hello.
We had visited this place in 2018 and liked very much. But now not finding this location on Google map.Search by exact name also points to some private gems shops.
Can anyone give the exact google map location link, and also update whether it is still operational in 2024?Thanks in advance.
