Jhalana Leopard Reserve is a small paradise located in the the city of Jaipur and best place to sight leopards in India.
This time we visited Jhalana just to see the queen of Jhalana, Flora and her little cub and was able to see them both on our very first safari, a sight to behold.

Excellent service provided by Kuldeep. Have used him a few times now. The vehicle and driver were present at the right time and the driver/guide took all measures necessary to give us a good sighting of the wildlife.

We went for a sunrise safari and it was beautiful. The ride in the park itself is an amazing experience , the landscape during sunrise is mesmerising to watch . During our 2 hour journey we spotted sambar deers,nilgai ,desert fox and many peacocks . But after all this we still couldn’t find any leapords and we were almost done with our time . Our driver VP sir still did not give up and with his experience and passion he finally found Rana , the most famous leopards in the park . All credit goes to the team of drivers in the field who always tried to give the best experience for us , which we did .

We did not even end up going. Their customer service is terrible. They only want to take foreigners because they can get double the amount of money. This is terrible for Indians because they will lose out on preference to foreigners who they can make more money from. And terrible for foreigners who must over pay. They thought we were foreigners so said they had availability but then when I said that we have Indian ID, they said there were no more spots available. I had to call several times to get a response. Extremely unprofessional and greedy.

Hidden gem for all nature lovers in the heart of Jaipur. Undoubtedly the best place in India to watch leopards in the wild. Safaris are available in the morning and in the evenings. I took an evening safari in the month of May in the scorching summer and captured three leopards in all their glory. This was made possible by Hemant Dabi and CP -experienced naturalists at the park. If you love nature and animals, you just cannot give Jhalana a miss. Also the best part of the nature reserve is it is it is just 10-15 minutes from the main city.

We had the best morning with Lakhan at the leopard safari. He picked us up from our hotel and we were in the park in no time. Lakhan did everything he could to make sure we saw a leopard (which was going to be difficult as it had rained heavily the night before) but with his skilful driving we saw one! It was so beautiful, just everything we could have asked for. Lakhan was so kind to us and told us all about the park and his passion and love for animals. We hope to be back soon!

This was the first wildlife safari for our kids and we wanted them to have the best experience.
Recently opened in 2019 and nestled in the midst of the city of Jaipur, Jhalana Leopard Reserve is a little paradise for wild Leopards of India. Its hard to believe that the leopards stay in such close proximity to the city boundary.
It is a must visit for wildlife lovers as it has a very good density of leopards and other birds and animals - leopards, peacocks, hare, neel gai, monkeys and deer.
We contacted Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat (+91 8290557709) and he is the correct person to get in touch with!! Extremely passionate about what he does, he was very responsive with booking and answering all our queries. The best part was when he sent the safari vehicle to our hotel to pick us up and we really enjoyed the ride from the hotel to the reserve via the open jeep !
Electric, environment friendly vehicles. The guide/driver he provided was excellent and professional and made sure we saw all the animals.
I'm glad I chose the safari at Jhalana over Ranthambore. Memorable trip indeed!

It was a nice experience. We have booked our safari for the early morning and sighted few birds (including Shikra, Partridge, and Rufous Treepie), Desert Fox, Nilgai, Peafowl, Rana(Leopard) and it's killing site where it killed a Nilgai. The Guide and Jeep Driver were very helpful and tried best for the sighting of Rana.

Wonderful experience to see Leopard in front of our gypsy walking till 2 km upwards in the jungle.This unexpected leopard walk gave us lifetime unforgettable experience. In close proximity to Jaipur city, this leopard safari is truly amazing. We booked permit through mr. Kuldeep and he sent best driver who helped in geeting the glimpse of leopard in our first visit.They knew when and where they can catch Leopard's movement according to their behaviour. Overall full points to Kuldeep ji and his team, love to come again.

We had an amazing experience at Jhalana Leopard Safari park..we got the booking done from Mr Kuldeep Singh and arranged the morning shift only a day before our visit even though the booking was going full. We got an experienced and energetic guide cum driver Mr. Ved Prakash (VP) who did everything to show us the leopard, which we got see twice namely Flora and Kajorh. Kajorh was only 10 feet away from our vehicle and watching him drinking water and walking in the forest was and amazing feat. My daughter and mother enjoyed the most as it was a surprise for them..thank you Kuldeepji and VP... Thank you so much to both of you..a must visit

I had confirm booking of Jhalana safari(full gypsy) of 19 August 2024. But on that day park was close. I booked safari online from fmdss website. Now will I get refund and how? I have tried to call helpdesk of fmdss website but noone is picking up call.

Yes, morning safari option is available.
Charges are approx 400 rupees per person (it can very) in the gypsy (6 person capacity). You can contact to agent or book it yourself from SSO login website. Just type SSO login on google and register yourself and book ticket.
