About
Jaipur Rugs is a family business strengthened by the purpose of protecting ancestral know-how and connecting rural craftsmanship with global consumers. By placing the human aspect at its core, the company has grown to become the largest network of artisans in India. It uses the age-old art form of handmade carpets as a tool to bring prosperity into the homes of 40,000 rural artisans of which 80% are women. Founded in 1978 by Nand Kishore Chaudhary with just two looms, it now has over 7000 looms and sells in over 60 countries. Today the company creates contemporary works of art by collaborating with creative talents capable of showcasing this ancestral craft with a new vision.

I have known the Jaipur Rugs online before. I really wanted to see the real products before buying because It's not a cheap purchase.
The staffs in the showroom were very friendly and showed and explained us many different types of rugs. They never push us to sell, and I was really comfortable to select, thank you!!
Reservation is necessary, and shipping to Japan would be $150.

Visited the Jaipur Rugs,
Respect for the founder Mr. Nand Kishor Chaudhary and the Company, as they are doing a great job for the artisans's living standards and dignity.
By connecting rural craftsman with global customers, Jaipur Rugs is saving dying craftsmanship in our society.
They have showed that, as each knot plays important role in weaving likewise every weaver is important.
In the era of loaded Machinaries, Jaipur Rugs works in traditional hand weaving method to prosper more than 40,000 artisans and that's how Jaipur Rugs is not only making carpets but providing "BLESSINGS" too

The experience which i have gained here as a college student was great. Jaipur Rugs is deeply connected with the emotions of people. This organisation is a true form of Art. The different types of carpets which they showed us were astonishing. The designs are connected with the stories and emotions of artisans.
The founder Mr.N.K Choudhary guided us to how to find the inner zeal and then use it in business.

It was a an amazing experience .. i was completely awestruck by the variety of rugs these guys had .. there were just too many .. any size any color any material .. u name it .. they have it!! And the best part was each n every rug is HAND KNOTTED!!!
and like this wasnt enough.. i discovered that these guys are giving employment to women in remote rural areas and with the help of Jaipur rugs these women have now become independant to the extent that some of them are sole earning members of their family!! It was heartwarming to know the concept behind this organization!!!
Excellent job guys .. keep up the good work!
PS i won a rug in one of their contests!!! 😊😊
