Viren, one of the most passionate & knowledgeable tour leader I met yesterday during the Heritage Walk to Vasai Fort. it was a perfect tour & Viren had an answer to almost everything 😄 History, Culture, Religions, Languages & lot more.. I just loved the the way he curated this walk & his narratives were pretty much impressive. He made the tour engaging by telling interesting trivia & interactive by sharing humorous jokes.😜 I'm glad we met (finally)! It was one of the best collaboration #Bhovara had at the beginning of this year. Thanks a lot for this wonderful experience & pleasant memories. Hope to see u again very soon..

I strongly suggest everyone to experience Heritage in & around Bombay city through Viren's vision. It's worth a walk wid zamorin of bombay tours

Great tour in Bandra with relevant facts, historical and cultural nuances.
Viren’s knowledge of world history and colonial India is impressive. The focus on integration of different cultures and religious influences in our daily life and knowledge of the architectural structures around truly brought the walk to life!

I did a walking tour through the Dhobi ghat and Dharavi with Viren and he did not disappoint. The passion in his work shines through from the moment you meet him. His infectious personality and love for history, philosophy and linguistics runs deep. I got there early and while I was waiting, I saw scores of other tour guides come by with tourists, guides give their spiel and go on to the next destination. Not Viren - he spent a good chunk of time giving us historical context about what we were going to see and helped get ourselves in the right head space to immerse ourselves in the environment we were about to step into. The sites almost speak for themselves but Viren added so much more that helped put into perspective what we were experiencing. He took the time to answer all our curious questions and went well over time, never rushing us.

You can get cheaper guides but not better than Viren. If you want a quick selfie and a short summary of the place, pick someone else. If you want to immerse yourself and learn about the wonderful history of these places, pick Viren.

This was my first time to India and I was able to add a little extra time to explore in Mumbai. I’m so glad a friend recommended Viren! Over the 1 1/2 days we had together I learned a TON about the history, culture, architecture and foreign influences of the area. We saw a sixth century cave temple, the slums, the harbor, a vibrant market - and many places off the beaten path. Viren is a wealth of information and a lot of fun - highly recommend!!

My best souvenir from Mumbai.

November 5, 2023

For the very first time I had the chance to take a guided tour through Mumbai.

Viren Adolf de Sá was the best tour guide I could imagine. He is very talented at generating the interest of his participants.

He brought me to DHOBI GHAT the open-air laundry. His explanations about the people working and living there were very insightful. The information he provided gave me insights I never had heard before.

At the next stop, Malabar Hill, we visited a Temple. For me it was the first time to have this experience, and I was delighted to learn about religion history and developments.

From the Temple we walked to BANGANGA Tank. A very quiet place where I could enjoy the spirit of Mumbai, sitting on the stairs and allowing the silence to come into my body.

For my next trip to Mumbai, I hope I’ll have the opportunity to follow up with another tour.

Everyone who wants to truly experience the atmosphere of Mumbai should take a tour with Viren Adolf de Sá. He is just perfect for that.

We had slum tour in Mumbai in November 2023 with excellent tour guide services from Zamorin of Bombay Tours. It was so nice experience for us because they escorted us to real slum life with interesting, informative explanations. We are very satisfied and enjoyed it.

I had two incredible days with Viren in Mumbai, bringing me instantly in touch with the people in the city and their many challenges. Viren is funny, very humorous and entertaining with historical insight about India and its people. He has tremendous talent to communicate with others, connecting with locals. He taught me how to use the trains/metro and how to cross safely busy streets in diagonal! I was not advised to go to the slums of Dharavi but anyway we went seeing unexpected places. Suddenly, I played cricket with kids in a courtyard. Also we went into the main postoffice of South Bombay to witness the stamping of my postcards! At all the time, he gave me the feeling being welcome and secure. Viren is a great professional, flexible in his tours, vivid, knowledgeable, friendly and very passionate about Mumbai, India and its people. I warmheartedly recommend him as your guide - he will enlighten you!

Viren is just the best. He probably knows everything about Bombay but what makes the difference is that he wants you to love his city as much as he loves it, not just to know every historical fact about it. He makes you see what you wouldn’t have seen; he makes you connect with people; he makes you feel the city and try to understand how it is to live there. The language, the religion, the culture, the way people interact with each other … Definitely recommend visiting Mumbai with Viren!
Viren is not the typical guide and it makes all the difference.
A friend of mine recommended him to me and I couldn’t recommend him enough to you.
Our friends, my husband and I will keep some incredible memories of Bombay because of Viren.
