Had been to Versova recently.
It is an amazing place with all the nature vibes. You can sit there and watch people enjoying the weekend. After covid there are many groups in Mumbai who have taken initiative to clean the beaches of Mumbai. Due to which most of all the beaches are clean.

There were people walking their pets and playing with their children. I loved this place however it is bit far from my place i cannot visit everyday. I am certain that i will pay my visit once in a month to enjoy the vibes.

There is nothing special about this beach. It will be betyer of you visit juhu kr marine drive than visiting this place.

If your are staying near the beach, than you can go here for morning or evening walk.

Mostly visited by people who travel to madh from Andheri though feiry.

Versova jetty. Andheri. Mumbai.

One of the oldest and may be the smallest distance Creek for any jetty.

Wondered how on earth this small patch cannot be built ever by any authority ?

So many econoMic calculations ran through my mind about vested interests.

Fish remains the point of connect between Mumbai and Versova as the major supplier of fish which happens to be a major part of food of this great city.

Dirt, filth, smell, mud remains as the thing which prohibits ones interest to visit again

The beach is absolutely dirty with fishermen colonies and boats all over and the place highly stinks of fish. For beach lovers, juhu and chowpatty beaches are worth visiting but this place is certainly worth avoiding. Also, the place doesn't seem safe at night.

Yes there are people all over the seaside in Mumbai but this stretch is relatively cleaner and less crowded...

The locals take great effort in cleaning this place and has been in the news for the drives conducted

Enjoy the clean sands but the water is quite dirty due to the dumping in the Arabian seas...... also the monsoons make the water buddy

I am visiting from the USA. Yesterday went there with family. Although I grew up jn India and used to seeing places not so well makntained, this was a shock kf a lifetime. This beach is a dumping ground with slums all around. Snack wrappers, plastic bags, leftover food was littered all over. Just disgusted to see sich a sorry state of this beautiful beach. Shame on the local authorities !!!!

If you stay in Western suburbs of Mumbai anywhere from Juhu to Goregaon, this is a good alternative to the over-crowded Juhu beach. Take time out from your busy lives and come for an evening stroll and catch the sunset. You will find a few families, plenty of kids playing ball and some fitness freaks. Avoid weekends to make it even better. TIP: Check tide timings. You cannot access the beach during high-tides.

However, if you are a tourist / traveler, avoid this place. The water is not particularly clean. We locals do not enter the waves. We can also easily ignore the filth that you will find repulsive. If that does not scare you, the scores of couples sitting among rocks will make you uncomfortable.

Finally, there is no pav-bhaji, rides and the like. For that stuff, pl stick to Juhu or Girgaum. And Versova is not peaceful or pristine either - for that you need to head out of the city... to Kashid, or Manori or at least Madh-Marve.
