Its a place where Gandhiji stayed for long time. From here only he introduced "satyagrah" in front of British kingdom on India. Various letters written by Gandhiji , books, Things he used are keep here in their original form. Nice place to visit if you are follower of Gandhi Thinking.

This is an interesting small museum that is worth a visit whilst in Mumbai. It doesn't take too long to look around but we found the letters and the diorama scenes, as well as Ghandi's room interesting - it's a nice piece of history. There is no entrance fee, just donations (no suggested amount), and you can buy mementos like... More

Informative and dedicated, this is the best Gandhi related attraction in Mumbai. However, if you've already been to Delhi and visited Gandhi Smriti etc, you won't learn anything new.

A folksy and all the more powerful for it, testimony to the achievements of one man. Essential visit if you want to try to begin to understand the enormous contradictions embedded in contemporary india; even if it is a 30 min drive from The India Gate to Laburnham road. The experience is on a human scale being in a house.... More

Great to see where he lived and to just appreciate the house and street. Seeing the room where he sat on the floor with the book stand beside him as I've seen in photos was a treat.
