While the India Gate in Delhi is dedicated to Soldiers, Gateway of India in Mumbai is dedicated to all the commercial activities / Trade that this City was once known for. Bombay Harbour has always been popular with Traders in the past arriving in India...More

It's a famous landmark in Mumbai. And you would find a good crowd on normal days. People come here for view and ferry. It has the historic "the Taj Mahal " situated right next to it. And you can click good pics with family here.

The shouts of ferry operators spoil the feel of the place. The grills are all dirty. Just go for the Historical importance

Impressive monument, beautifully lit at sunset, with a great view on the sea. Quite busy, short lines at security check.

Worth seeing, but it is a reflection on how little there is to see in Mumbai. One day is plenty for this city, other parts of India are much more interesting.
