Superb architecture.....best time visit the place is the morning or evening...don't visit in the afternoon because the climate is too humid you will not be able to enjoy the place.....you can take a boat ride but you can stand in long queue for reservations during peak periods.....its nearby to Taj hotel....so you can enjoy both the views together.....

Great place to visit and take amazing pictures. Lots of tourists bit it's a very spacious area. There are many restaurants around and if you feel fancy you can go to the Taj Mahal palace hotel for a cocktail or afternoon tea

The Gateway of India is the iconic place of mumbai and it never ceases to amaze us. The Famous Taj Hotel is also located just opposite to this place.

Spend a few minutes considering the history and the role the British played in India . It's best to get photos on line and not at the Gateway it's self , as it is very very busy .
