It looks beautiful in night as it have focus lighting on it. In the dat time, it's the only place to get ferry to the Elephants caves. It gives a beautiful view of The Taj Hotel.

Constructed in the memory of King George by British. It was a entry point by sea route to Mumbai. Now it serves as place for Joyrides on the sea and travel to places close to Mumbai by sea route.

It was fascinating to stand beside the Gateway where the British troops left India in 1948 liberating India from British rule and also where Queen Mary and King George entered Mumbai.

This is a magnificent structure located at Apollo Bunder and overlooks the Arabian Sea. It is near near another iconic site-The Tajmahal Hotel.It used to be the entry point of British viceroys and is a major tourist attraction.

This is located in a lovely part of the city and can be used for a meeting place, photos. It also has some good history behind it. This is just one of these such gates in India.

no. it's better to go to this place with public transport. it is close to churchgate station
can we go inside the premise of Gateway of India early morning at around 6 am?

maybe going inside premises is not allowed as when i went there were barracks there so but the outside view is only pretty awesome
We are in Mumbai in March . Would like a day tour of the city. Please advise/recommend a good tour guide with a car and what places can we visit in a day and show in the evening
