Great for people watching, shopping, and visiting all the sites mentioned in Gregory David Roberts wonderful book. I am an older woman who visited on my own with no problems. Don't be afraid to mix and mingle.

Touristy part of Mumbai but while you are pestered a bit it's not too bad. There are some quiet side streets but the action largely happens in one very concentrated area. You'll probably pay at least one visit while in Mumbai.

From exotic vintage locales and well maintained by lanes transporting back us to the era of the raj.. hope that the culture can be retained and remains the same.. who wouldn't want to go back to that era even after almost 7 decades..

You can just pay for a pre pay taxi at arrivals. There is a payment desk and it's a set price so you don't have to haggle! You can have AC or non AC. It may be very slightly more than the usual black and yellow cab but the... More

depends where your hotel located? with a good pair of shoes one can walk around as see the sights, gateway of India, Flora Fountain, Museum, marine Drive, HighCourt, Rajabai clock tower etc
