This temple in the heart of Mumbai is a sacred one.The temple is crowded it the crowds are well regulated.There is some construction work going on at the temple and so it was very crowded but the queues moved fast and we had a great darshan.The dieties are bright and beautiful.There are separate queues for men and women.The backside of... This place is pretty near by to the Siddhivinayak temple. So religious people who are drooping by to Mumbai while going to Siddhivinayak can go to Mahalakshmi temple as well.

Highly recommend to visit this place. I came there right before Lakshmi pooja started. There were looooong lines in front of the deities - one line for women and another one for men. We visited this place and liked it very much. The idols of Maa are really eye catching in Golden color. The temple is nice, but, some construction is going on....so not well managed.
