The whole GoMowgli concept is a fantastic start-up that is dedicated to conscious travel. Kaa was kind enough to take me out on this tour as a solo traveler, even though the other guests had to cancel. Whether traveling in a group or as an individual, I definitely recommend doing one of their trips. Kaa is a really fun person to spend a day with, not to mention an absolute treasure trove of information. I found myself excitedly taking notes as if I was back in school. He provides wonderful context regarding the region’s history and faith traditions so that when visiting the sites, one can sincerely appreciate their significance. This is not a whistle stop tour; this is a trip that encourages its participants to learn and go deeper. The stops on the trip are well curated – a perfect balance of history, spirituality, cuisine, and local industry. I’m excited for the next excursion with this organization!

The guys who run GoMowgli are first class. I was in contact with Kaa long before I came to India, he is extremely generous, helpful and hospitable. Our trip would have not been the success it was, without him! If you want more than just a 'drive around' for a day tour, then I suggest you book with GoMowgli. Whilst visiting Mysore, Kaa took us on a Mysore - Sharavanabelagola - Melukote - Mysore tour. We had an brilliant day, he's an enthusiastic story teller and I felt like I learnt, as well as saw, so much. We also met his team members in Coorg and Kochi during our trips there. Thank you SO much for everything guys, keep up all of the amazing entrepreneurial work you're doing, and I hope to welcome you to London any time!

Our group was a mish mash of young and old and it was a pleasant surprise that all of us enjoyed the tour very much. While I have been to India before, this one tour had me mesmerised. Seeing that we are mostly designers and architects, our guide Kaa made a detour to the impressive Keshava temple before Mysore (too beautiful for words). It was very thoughtful that he constantly aligned the places we visited with our interests (and wants), making the tour a very personal one. To add on to the awe, Kaa is a polymath, so he’ll prolly be able to answer any question you throw at him. The stories and historical recollections revealed layers of India that made us want to know more and visit again. I definitely recommend GoMowgli to anyone who is going to India!
