Although it's free entrance, there seems to be something lacking here. The outside looks lush but inside is a bit gloomy. As the place suggests, if wanna know about nature, do drop by. Is this a must place to see? I don't think so.

Dead plants and animals which are endangered and extinct are preserved in the museum. There are charts and models which shows ecological interrelationships and need for conservation.

It is a just casual visit for an individual. Only children or those who are interested in natural history may visit it again

This is an excellent resource for getting familiarity with local flora, fauna and the basics of Natural Sciences. It is very well-maintained and peaceful place.

The Regional Museum of Natural History is located at a corner of Karanji Lake. It houses a collection of figures of animals from the prehistoric to current age with details concerning their evolution etc. The figures are not interactive as in other natural history museums...More
